Hi. My brother who isn’t a cuber, wants a cheap cube. He mostly just does patterns and (R U)x63. What cube would be best for about $4? MFJS MeiLong? It doesn’t need to be very fast. Just not like locking up like a rubik‘s brand

I too use the Tornado as my 4x4 main. The great thing about it is that since it is a 3x3 I skip reduction phase every time and I never get OLL or PLL parity. I average about 14 seconds with it, significantly faster than Max Park who only averages 21 seconds with his WRM 4x4.
The puzzle is ambition, not tornado. Tornado is the 3x3, ambition is the 4x4.

What's the best megaminx brand that is good and not too expensive? I'm ok with somthing under 15 -20 bucks, and I'm also looking for a good 4x4. I think Feliks uses MGC 4x4, but I don't know whether MGC is better or Moyu WRM, and I also thought about buying GAN460, but it's a bit too expensive.
Yj Yuhu V2. It is the best bang for your buck if you are going for a relatively good price.

So, I've been maining the Tengyun v1 for a long time now, for the past three years. There was a brief period when I mained the v2, but I ended up going back to the v1. However, I think that it's time for a new main. I am unsure what I should get however, as the Tornado v2 is quiet like the Tengyun but I've also seen complaints about the cornercutting, and the WRM 2021 has great cornercutting like the Tengyun but isn't as quiet, and I don't like the GTS3 as much as the Tengyun but I am not sure how different the feel of the WRM 2021 is from the GTS3. I am also considering the CH variants (magnetic core) of each.

Update: Actually did stuff on my GTS3 for the first time in years. I forgot how good this cube was. A pretty different feeling from the Tengyun for sure, but a nice cube nonetheless.
So you want a cube similar to the tengyun? I'm not quite sure what you are asking for.

What do like and not like about the tengyun?

I like:
- its smoothness
- its quietness
- its great cornercutting
- pretty lightweight
I dislike:
- lack of corner core magnets
- lack of customization system
- no maglev (? - I’m not sure how much of a benefit maglev provides)
The TengYun v1 is probably the quietest decent cube out there right now, the TengYun v2m is also nice and has many customisation options. The only mass produced cube that has both maglev and corner-core magnets is the gan 12 (although you could mix a WRM 2021 maglev with a CH WRM 2021)

Thanks! Do you have an opinion on the tornado? I’ve heard some people say it’s amazing but other people have said that it has a nice feel but it’s ruined by its cornercutting performance.
The Tornado is a very solid cube, but compared to the incredible corner cutting of the tengyun, it might take awhile to get used to. Maybe try the Valk Elite, it is also a quite fast and quiet cube.

Personally I don't like the tornado v2, I feel it lacks corner cutting and feels slow but I know that some people really like it and I can tell it has a certain feel that will appeal to certain cubers.

Which 4x4 do you guys suggest I buy? My current 4x4 (a random 3 buck cube) is really bad and is constantly ruining a potential sub-1 min solve (i know i suck right). I'm kinda wanting to buy YJ MGC, but there's also gan460. Just want to know what 4x4 you guys recommend.
Go for the MGC 100%. It's one of the top cubes on the market, but also pretty cheap, so it's the safest option. DO NOT get the GAN 460, it is absolutely terrible.

I want to buy a new 2x2 since my old one (Gan249) is too small and it isn't magnetic. I've got two possible candidates right now, Gan 251 M Leap UV, or Moyu Rs2m Evo. I just want your guys' opinions on them regardless of the price so I can decide which one to buy. Thank you :)
251M Leap is amazing for the price, only downside for me at least is that its UV coated

I currently main the X-Man Galaxy V2 LM and I want to switch to a better megaminx. I have heard the YJ Yuhu is really nice but I do not know if it has the flagship performance that I am looking for. I want to get the Gan megaminx, but I would like to know if there is a less expensive megaminx that has the nice features and flagship feel that the gan has.

I'd definitely go with the YuHu v2. It has flagship performance for a great price, and is overall a great option. Another one would be the dayan, but a lot of people find it too small.

The yuhu has the best performance for its price, but the dayan is generally preferred since it's faster
