So basically, I have a RS3M 2020 that‘s pretty old, it’s not as smooth as it used to be, it has a dent, but it’s still a decent cube. I don’t have a cube timer and I use my iPad to time myself(speedtimer and cstimer). So, for for Christmas, should I ask for a timer or a new cube?

A stack mat timer is pretty sweet, but I don't even use mine all the time. A computer/tablet is nice because of the inspection timer.

I personally main the Tornado V2 M, it's cheap(er) for a top-level cube that would be nice to have.

I would recommend getting the WRM 2021 maglev.
Ultimately I'm not sure whether maglev is actually better, obviously it allows cubes to be faster by eliminating friction in the spring but whether cubes need to be any faster is questionable, the RS3M 2021 is way too fast out of the box but does slow down to a controllable speed over time.
Obviously I have reviews of both on my YouTube channel...

I second that! If you like effortless, frictionless turning the wrm 2021 maglev is probably the best cube for you (The rs3m 2021 is also really good but doesn't feel as premium)

Ya I’m gonna ask for the WRM Maglev. Getting the RS3M 2021 will be hard to get used to because I have an RS3M 2020 so the pieces are the same, but the friction isn’t, so WRM is the clear choice. Also lovin’ the purple!

I wanted to know the best 3x3 at this time of year, and see other people's opinion. Although I don't own all of these, I've tried every single cube at comp(exept for the evo and the mgc elite.) Thanks.

Could you maybe add the Qiyi MS? It's a great cube when setup correctly. You also may want to add some Dayan's.

My main is slowly switching to the gan 354 v2 so not the most recent but i really like the rs3m 2021 and the wrm 2020

Definitely, my tengyun v2 is still one of my favourite cubes and i really wanna try the new(ish) zhanchi

I’ve actually heard that the Zhanchi Pro really isn’t worth getting and that it’s basically just a rerelease of the Tengyun v2.

don't like any dayans except tengyuns cause they are quite silent

rs3m 2020 and 2021 are similar, so they are in 1 category. Its my current main.
