I'm planning on purchasing a Gan 356 XS 3x3 from SpeedCubeShop and I'm unsure if I should get the pro setup service addon for it. Does the 356 XS come good out of the box?

the XS is outdated and not worth it. I made the same mistake when I bought an X.
You can get a moyu wrm 2021, or a Tornado v2, or even a 11m duo if you want to try gan, and put the extra money to better use

I’ve heard of the rs3m 2020 and I asked my cubing friend to lend me his, however I think it’s not suitable for me. Therefore any budget cube suggestions besides the rs3m 2020? thx a lot

I use the Yulong v2m as well. Its a good budget cube from the YJ company.

try tensioning your cube, my meilong m is amazing. However, if you are sure you need a new cube, here are a few cheap options
Thunderclap V3M
Qiyi MS
YLM Magnetic
Yulong V2M
Kylin V2M
I don't have these, but they are very popular ones.

If you're locking up on a Meilong M (a good cube), you probably have rough turning. RS3M is great for rough turners. Perhaps your friend's RS3M wasn't set up to your preferences. Keep in mind that it's a very customizable cube, though. You can adjust tensions and spring strength, and the cube is very adaptive to lubes

I would get the Supernova service if I were you. Stock is definitely in need of setup ootb.

Idk, I like the XS better and get better times with it then all of those. Quite a few people like the XS better than the 11 M...

I've been wanting to buy a new main cube on a medium budget but not sure what to buy, I have been Eyeballing the Gan 356 M lite though.
I average around 40 seconds and am busy learning full pll on the 3*3. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

I'd recommend either the Tornado v2 or the WRM 2021. Both are better than the Gan 356 M imo.

Honestly, the RS3M 2020 is still an amazing and viable option. Since you’re on a medium budget, I would recommended one of the premium setup version such as the mystic, or angstrom versions.

I'm stuck of these cube: The Valk Elite M, GAN 11M DUO, GAN X V2 and Dayan Zhanchi Pro M, which the best choice ? They have the same prices, and fit me perfectly !

From what I've heard, the Valk Elite M and Gan X V2 suck and the Zhanchi is pretty meh. Out of those, go for the duo, but the WRM 2021, tornado v2, both tengyuns and Valk M are all other good options.

@HD Truong Giang, just think about all the pros and cons of the cubes you mentioned and pick one!

"Suck" is a strong word. It's a very good cube, far from "bad". This is coming from somebody who absolutely adores the Qiyi MS but uses the Elite anyway.
