I know this has already been asked, but I can't find it. I'm looking for a 3x3 that's really really quiet, nearly silent would be good. It doesn't have to be a super modern one like the Valk or SM, but a good cube would be nice.
I have tried to do some research for this as well. Just like you I want a really silent cube, but I couldn't find reliable results other than that the SM is very silent, like on of the most silent cubes (at least these days). I'm not sure about older cubes though...

I have an SM, but it's still pretty loud in an otherwise silent car ride, so I can't use it when my sister is trying to sleep D:

Oh no! ;) Well I have read a lot about the ShengShou Wind, or the Aurora (an apparently updated version). The both don't seem to (reverse) corner cut though, so I wouldn't call them a real speed cube anymore these days. However, I guess for the sound this might be your best bet...

I don't think that a silent cube is really that possible. All the moving parts will equal noise to some degree (obviously I'm sure you realize you won't get something completely silent). One thing I have noticed is that lube in a cube will make it quieter. However, I'm not sure is speed lube works like that; in my experience, SCS Cosmic Lube and Lubicle One have the "quiet" effect, if that makes sense.

As a huge fan of Megaminx puzzles (it is my main event), I would say that the Shengshou isn't really worth your time unless you really don't care about Megaminx or need it for a mod. I would recommend some of the newer budget Megaminxes from better speedcube companies like qiyi for your average cuber. If you want a good speed minx, get a X man galaxy, but they are expensive and a v2 is coming out soon.

If you want a "silent" lube you should probably go with the thicker lubes :)

I'm looking for a 3x3 which is buttery, quite(not necessary though) and overall has a good feel to it. I want to use it for One-Handed so it should be available in smaller sizes (like 54mm is maximum).

I’ve tried a whole bunch of new releases at comps, looked at reviews, and searched stores. I can’t seem to find a 3x3 for my style. My main rn is a YAN3 on tight tensions, and I like it. But it doesn’t work well enough. I can’t seem to set it up right. Whenever I solve, there is inconsistency in stability. Any suggestions?
Edit: Really sorry about the post, I'm kinda new to this website.

So I have $6 budget for a cube, and my options are only mf3rs and mf3rs2. What do you guys prefer? mf3rs or mf3rs2? I've seen many reviews on them, but I still can't decide and I don't want to regret of what I've bought. Thank you.

P.S. Hi! I'm a new user in this forum and I want to start cubing. Sorry for my grammatical mistakes.

I want to buy some new WCA cubes, but I'm not sure what ones I should get. Any suggestions?
