I'm planning on getting a 3x3, and 4x4 and a pyraminx.
For 3x3, I currently own a YuXin Fire and Guanlong, (I have already ordered a Weilong GTS, it's on its way)
I heard the YueXiao is good. Any reccomendations?

I don't own a 4x4 or pyraminx. Any reccomendations?

How good is the QiYi Thunderclap. I think I have a very suckish MoFangGe.
Isn't the MoFangGe the thunderclap?

For a 3x3, the WeiLong GTS is really good. Unless you want to get a second 3x3 as a backup or something, you'll probably be fine with just the GTS. For 4x4, the GuanSu is probably what you want. It's cheap for 4x4s these days, and it's basically a advanced 4x4 with a budget price. However, the plastic is pretty hard and it'll take a while to break in. At least, that's what I heard.
From what I've heard, The QiYi pyraminx is good, and the few that I've tried at comps were better than my MoYu.

If you have already ordered a Weilong GTS I'd say wait until you get it and then decide if you want some more 3x3s. In that case, Yuexiao is gonna be too similar so I'd go more to a Thunderclap or Aolong v2 and see what feel you like best.

Regarding 4x4 I like mini size and I'd recommend the Cyclone Boys G4 (but it needs some breaking in, as out of the box it catches a lot in the middle slices but it gradually goes away just by solving it). Also for mini, I've heard that the brand new Yuxin Blue Kylin 4x4 is very nice as well. For regular size a cheap option is the GuanSu (maybe the new Yusu R?) a bit more expensive is the Aosu, not sure which one I like best.

For Pyraminx people seem to agree that QiYi is the best, closely followed by the Moyu. If you want something cheaper to begin with maybe the Cyclone Boys or Shengshou are good enough.

So, I was at my part time job today and I noticed that we had a new display that had a 3x3 puzzle on it. It was branded as a "Quick Cube" by Duncan. I was curious and it was only $5 so I bought it.

It seems to turn ok, it seems to need some lube, but I was wondering if it was made by another company possibly and just branded as the Duncan.

I took some pictures of the cube, and under the center caps it has some what I assume is Japanese characters I tried to show.

I really want to get into one handed and I have a moyu hualong.
I want a smooth cube that is easy to hold and doesn't take much force is cut corners or move. I live in a country where there are few options for buying cubes and I can't buy online

I like the Hualong for one handed, to be honest. I replaced it by the Tanglong and Yuexiao, though. Aolong v2 or Thunderclap can be good options as well.

Hey guys so i recently got a 4x4 from a stationary store and learned the 4x4. this store bought cube is really a mess as it has wrong placed stickers as red is opposite to blue instead of being adjacent..anyway away from that which 4x4 you think i should buy ? i am on a budget so i won't buy cubes like aosu or meiyu.. i was thinking of buying YJ Yusu or Qiyi MoFangGe Wind cloud. it would be better if you can suggest more 4x4 cubes at the price range of yj yusu ..

Hello, all. Like the above poster, I'm also coming back from a very long cubing break and I'm wondering what the most popular 3x3's on the market are. When I began my break, most of the hype was around the AoLong V2, but after doing some research, I see that many more high performance have been released since then. I'm planning on picking up 2-3 cubes and I'm not sure which ones to tey. My current main is a Fangshi Shuangren (idk the version) and I seem to gravitate towards the mildly scratchy feel, though I'm open to other things too. I was thinking of getting the GuanLong or JieYun and then? Thanks for the help.

I say go for guoguan yuexiao or weilong gts

Hi everyone.
So, I'm just about to make a nice big 4-7 purchase, and I have like no idea which cubes to get.
I'm looking for the best of the best, and my budget is average for the purchase.
So could you guys help me with your opinion on the best:
4x4 (currently own a yuxin but it locks up like crazy)
5x5 (currently own a cycloneboys)
6x6
7x7

Thanks a lot for your help.

I have a Yuxin (it sucks) too and i am getting the new Yuxin, i've heard really great things about it. So
4x4: Yuxin Blue (/Guansu or Aosu)
5x5: Yuxin or Bochuang GT (Bochunag is liked the most)
6x6: Yuxin Red or Aosu (Yuxin is like the most)
7x7: Aofu GT (expensive but great) or Shengshou (cheaper and less great)

Any of these cubes are good, i haven't tried any so this is based on popular opinions and many, many reviews i have read and seen.

Both cubes are great but I also recently changed to the Weipo as my main. Anyway I don't think it's any better than those two, just on par with them. It is better out of the box, though. The Dayan needs a lot of breaking in.

Anyway, if you decide to go for the Wittwo make sure you get the v1 (the v2 is much worse).
