Was hoping someone could go into some detail about the difference between the Weilong GTS and the YueXiao. Looking for the more stable of the two.

Both are very similar in flexibility. I feel I can keep the GTS on tighter tensions and still get the same performance out of it. I would go for GTS.
Was about to pull the trigger on the GTS but read from multiple sources that it's a little on the uncontrollable side. Went with the YueXiao.

I'm looking for a quiet speedcube (3x3) to use (for example) on an airplane. I would prefer a stickerless (not pink) version. And also please no Gans... too expensive.

I think if you corner cut on any cube, it will be loud. If you turned slower and didn't cut corners, most cubes will be quiet enough.

True, but there are some very loud cubes like the YueYing wich are loud even when not cornercutting. I'm looking for a quiet, smooth, mini cube. Is the Zhanchi 42mm quiet? Or the Mini Weilong(V1/V2)/Aolong ?

In my opinion the Yuexiao is silent enough but maybe the kind of lubing and turning style can also make a difference. If you also want a mini size cube then the Weilong v2 mini is not very loud and is still a decent cube by today's standards. I have one and I overlubed it a bit with weight 3 and it is nice and not noisy, again by my understanding of "not noisy".

The 42mm zhanchi is very quiet, more than any normal size cube. Its very small, but despite that you can speedsolve it. If you finally choose this one, is better in stickerless, because small stickers are usually easy to peel off.

What skewb should I get? Moyu or Qiyi?
I like clicky skewbs
I don't care about speed much but I hate lockups/catching

Both are similar in appearence and performing. I solve it in about 8-10 seconds and I prefer the Qiyi because is a little more smoth and his click is softer. If you want a stronger click with the Qiyi you can adjust the tensions of the ballbearings, with the Moyu you don't have to do anything. I think that Qiyi's has (a very little) better cornercutting, but can be a little too fast and uncontrollable at first, and this can induce to lockups.
If you want a stickerless skewb Qiyi is the only one.

Hmm... I'm back from a 6 month hiatus. I average sub 15 on 3x3 but use a very sucky Cong's Design YueYing. My Tanglong sucks and so does my QiYi Thunderclap. Are any of the new cubes good? I've used an Aolong before and I liked it. I've never tried a Weilong. What should I get?

Hello, all. Like the above poster, I'm also coming back from a very long cubing break and I'm wondering what the most popular 3x3's on the market are. When I began my break, most of the hype was around the AoLong V2, but after doing some research, I see that many more high performance have been released since then. I'm planning on picking up 2-3 cubes and I'm not sure which ones to tey. My current main is a Fangshi Shuangren (idk the version) and I seem to gravitate towards the mildly scratchy feel, though I'm open to other things too. I was thinking of getting the GuanLong or JieYun and then? Thanks for the help.

I don't think the Guanlong is anywhere near top notch by today's standards. I'd go with Yuexiao, Weilong GTS and some other cube like QiYi Thunderclap or the Aolong v2 that maybe you didn't have time to try before your long break. If money is not an issue the Gans 356 is also preferred by many top cubers. Other recent cubes are the Moyu Tanglong or Qiyi/XMD Tornado.

Thanks! How about the JieYun? I've read that it has some remnants of the scratchy Shuangren feel.
