I've heard of CB G4 being really fast, and I've tried a Yuxin before from a friend, which was already way faster than I can control; I average around 10 seconds slower on the Yuxin.

So I'm kind of hesitant on buying really fast 4x4s, since they've proven to be not my type in the past :|

I solve the 4x4 y 1'20" and de CB is very controlable. Its super fast, but I neither overshoot nor get lockups.

I want to start OH, what's currently the best one to buy?

Still the Dayan Zhanchi 55mm, Weilong 54,5mm? Or is the new GuoGuan Yuexiao 55mm a good contender?

I'd say the fire but there are cubes almost as cheap and a bit better. Like, you know, a Thunderclap :)
Unless you need like 20-30 cubes for MBLD or to give as presents and want them as cheap as possible.

I'm getting for a friend. Also which is better, the qiyi or moyu; prya and skewb.

I asked this same question a week or so ago and I was told that they're almost on par. Qiyi skewb is maybe a little bit better, but as I already had a Moyu I was told the difference was not that big. If you don't have any, based on that I'd suggest to get the Qiyi then. Regarding Pyra I was told it was a matter of preference but, for somebody starting to get into pyra maybe the Moyu was a safer choice. I ordered the new Cyclone Boys Pyra with another order just because it was new and very cheap, so now I'm waiting for it to arrive and check if it is good or not and, in case it's not I will order a Moyu later on.

If the cube is for a good friend I would spend the additional $ and get the Thunderclap. :)

ok, thanks. I guess i'll get the qiyi skewb as it is only a dollar more expensive and the moyu pyraminx as im just a beginner. Also, when your cb pyra arrives, let me know if it's good or not because i may want to get a pyra for a friend and its price looks tempting.

Sorta debating over Moyu Aosu and Cyclone Boys G4 right now for a new 4x4.
The G4 is so much cheaper that it's really tempting to get it, but if its performance is a lot worse than Aosu, I might just reconsider. Any recommendations?

The G4 is great, at least as good as the aosu. Even the CB G5 is almost as good as the moyu huachuang. Moyu cubes are very good, but its prices (until now, seems that the Bochuang has a reasonable price) are too expensive, and unless you are a professional speedcuber don't worth it.

The G4 is horrible out of the box but once it's broken in and properly set up, I prefer it to the AoSu. Just be prepared to put some time and effort into the cube before it starts to perform well.

Which is better, the Qiyi storm or YJ Guansu? I need a new 4x4, dont mind stickerless

Probably the guansu. I don't have it, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. The qiyi storm that I have is fast and feels nice as well as has good corner cutting, but it pops sometimes and that's really annoying, especially when the small internal piece pops out.

Oh, I hate that pop with my aosu, good to know, since I need a 4x4 that does 't pop [emoji3]

Cyclone boys g4 or Mini Aosu? Which is better in terms of performance? And which is faster?

Is DaYan ZhanChi good? Is it still a good cube in the market or are there better cubes? Give me your opinion on the ZhanChi.

There are right now like 10-15 newer cubes that are (arguably) better than the Zhanchi. That doesn't mean the Zhanchi is obsolete but less and less people use it currently as their main. There are also better AND cheaper cubes now to choose from. The list goes on and on (most recent Moyu 3x3s, Yuxin, Gans 356, Moyu sub-brands Cong's Desing and the new GuoGuan, QiYi Thunderclap...)
