I started Cubing last summer and I know F2L, full PLL, and currently memorizing OLL. PB is 17.87s and I have a sub-30 average. I'm using the rubik's cube 2.0 that was lubricated with jig-a-loo. Leaning towards getting the cheap yuxin or should I wait for the new Aolong GT or some other cube(s)? I am also new to online shopping and so which websites that are trustworthy and has free shipping. i live n Canad BTW.

i use thecubicle.us but i'm not sure about out of country shipping. as of a good cube i use the aolong v2 but maybe the GT will be better. But i average about 18 seconds without full PLL or OLL and i did it by practicing a lot of F2L and cross until i can do F2L in about 10 seconds

Thunderclap is your best bet for a cheap price. I got mine from the cubicle, same price as YuXin, but from what Ive heard it faster and better over all.

What is a good decent stickerless 4x4 that has the best pop resistant mech for under $20?

Really there is only a few stickerless 4x4s. Under $20 you have the Cyclone Boys G4 (Make sure it's the G4 version). It's 60mm and is bad out of the box, but after breaking in, many people have described it as what the mini Aosu should have been. The yuxin is also okay. The main difference is the Yuxin is 62mm and is faster but less feel

i have watched both of their vids on it already.
But i want to ask if excluding the looks and the cheesy sounds it makes, looking at it as a timer, is it okay or sould i just get a stackmat?

I just want to add a question to yours. Does it work with csTimer via the microphone connector so that you can integrate it like you can with the stackmat pro?

I have a Yuxin one. Plan to do a video sometime about it. It works great and has holes for stackmats

It would be nice if you include csTimer integration / compatibility in your video. I'm waiting to find a good deal on a stackmat pro set (timer, mat & carrying bag) but if this works well with both csTimer and the Gen3 mats I could just buy the Gen3 mat alone and this timer instead.

i dont think the gen3 mat is very good for cubing, its kinda thin. i think a thicker mat like thecubicle.us' mat or maru mat would be better.
just my opinion.

I need a new cube. I have been using a Fangshi Shuang-ren for a little over a year and I hate it. It locks up and it feels so tight but its so loose I get frequent corner twists. I have been looking at the tanglong. The Aolong GT looks good but i have no idea how good it is because no ones posted reviews. Any recommendations?
