Why are you limiting yourself to only to those cubes?
Out of those I recommend the LingPo, but IMO the best 2x2 is the Fangshi ShiShuang (I like the 55mm one because I have big hands), it's very crunchy, fast and corner cuts amazingly.

If you want a decent and cheap one I'd go with the CB stickerless. Or the Yupo, if it is really similar to the LingPo, which I'm not sure about. I have the CB and I have not tensioned or lubed it at all and it was really nice for the price out of the box and the shades are fine.

Hi, I'm pretty new to speedcubing (https://www.speedsolving.com/forum/showthread.php?55571-Looking-to-reduce-my-times) and ATM I'm using a regular Rubik's brand cube with 1:30 average. Obviously i need a speedcube, but I'm not quite sure which to get. I had my sights set on a YuXin, but now I'm hearing good reviews on several MoYu cubes. Which is better? I would prefer a controllable cube with good corner cutting, but that is also fast... This is why i wanted a YuXin... any help is appreciated

It would be nice if you could help me get a good 2x2 for me. I would not want a beginner cube as I am sub 50 on the 3x3 and can solve a 2x2.I like cubes with scratchy/crispy feels and nothing that will let me down with speed- I am a speedsolver on the 3x3. I really have no intention to lube or tension AT ALL.
My choices are Cyclone Boys 2x2 ,Shengshou Aurora 2x2, Yuxin 2x2 and Moyu Lingpo 2x2. please help me and give me advice.

Are you entirely ruling out the DaYan 2x2? Because it's all but objectively better than half the cubes you mentioned. It also has a pretty crispy feel I think, like you wanted. I can't remember how well it is without lube, but keep in mind that a lot of good 2x2 solvers still use it as their main, so it's not like it's outdated, despite how DaYan is shifting into being a thing of the past. And you can get it fairly cheap if you know where to look. Like cubezz for instance.

The Lingpo is also good, like the others said.

Should I get the moyu tanglong or the moyu aolong v2?
Tanglong imo.

Actually, while I'm here, I may as well give my rankings of opinion for all the Moyu 3x3s I've ever felt, in case it means anything to anyone.

Tanglong > Weilong v2 > Hualong = Aolong v2 > Aolong v1.

(Yeah that's right v1 fanboys, I said it, whachu' gonna' do huh, punk?)

I don't have one but the Yuxin should be fine. Really theres so many good cubes that its just up to personal preference.

I personally would go with a Tangling. That is definitely a controllable cube and has good corner cutting. As for the Yuxin, I've tried two. One is good, the other is not. The other one just feels very springy and is really slow while the first is quite smooth but is not fast

Best Beginner OH Cube?

I just got a Moyu Aolong V2 intended for two-handed solving, but I have recently gotten into one-handed solving. This Aolong is WAAY too fast for my weak left hand and I was trying to look for a speedcube that could be best for an OH beginner like me. I was figuring a mini version of a cube that is more controllable would work, but I really don't know what I should get.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I got a Mini Moyu WeiLong 54.5mm as my first OH cube and I always enjoyed it.

The small size is perfect because my hand isn't performing well on bigger cubes.
It's quite controllable out of the box and with lubing I managed to make it turning easier while at the same time keeping the controlability.

You could also use your right hand! There is nothing wrong with that :)
Depending on the size of your hand, you may want to use something around 55mm (I used a 50mm ZhanChi for the longest time).
If you are looking for a slow cube, you may have to look into something like the TangLong or YuXin and then tightening it. The YuXin is on the lower end in terms of cost, but performs very well (from what I can gather). I currently use the MeiYing for OH and cannot find a problem with it.

SpeedCubeReview.com is a great resource for stuff like this, and so are reviews from cube shops.

I am from Australia and I have speedcube.com.au as my main cube store and the Dayan 2x2 is 18.50 aud that's a bit expensive.
Thanks for your information

I bought a Mini Aolong 54mm a while back wanting to get into OH. I find that even the 54mm is to big for me to use. I have small hands and really struggle to hold the cube and turn as I can't wrap my finders around much. What would be a good performing smaller cube ? TheCubicle has a 50mm Dayan but do not want to spend money on a cube that I won't really be using without knowing a little more. I use 2 cubes mostly at the moment, an Aolong V2 and a Hualong to give an idea of what I am used to and like in feel. I prefer the Aolong to be honest which is why I went for the 54mm mini version.

I have a meiying too, use it for both 3x3 and OH,its really good.Although its fast out of the box it seems much more controllable after a few days.

It depends on your budget and also whether you plan on buying more cubes in the future or not. You say that you want a controllable cube, that's fine, unless you were much faster and you know what you're getting into I wouldn't go for an uncontrollable cube. But when you say fast, if you have not tried any speedcubes then any will feel very fast for you so I would not get one that's particularly fast as my 1st speedcube.

Cubes that are reasonably but not too fast, corner cut very well (> 45º direct, 3/4 of a cubie reverse) and are controllable:
Aolong v2, Tanglong, Yueying

If you want faster maybe Weilong v2, Meiying

But, if you are looking for something cheaper to start with and don't mind getting a bit older cube (those are able to get sub-6 / sub-7 times in the correct hands, don't get me wrong, older does not mean bad in this case) you also have:
Sulong, Chilong, Yulong

Or even the newer "low end" cubes would make it for you: Guanlong, Fire...

Other new cubes like Hualong, 357, 356, Yuxin are less controllable for me. Some / all of the above can also be less controllable depending on how you set them up (lube & tensions), e.g. the Meiying. I have not mentioned the Fangshi (ShuangRen, GuangYing, JieYun) as I don't particularly like their feeling but maybe you would (in that case try the ShuangRen or JieYun, the GuangYing is way too fast).
