Yuxin 3x3 vs Moyu Hualong vs Moyu Aolong V2? (I wanna the best corner cutting possible ever) (Not include the Gans cubes because they aren't in the inventory)

Then you will be happy because the CB is a little bigger than the Aochuang, only by a few mm. Physically it feels like a Shengshou, except it's fast and not locky, and can corner cut and doesn't pop.

After watching your review I have ordered one. I'm not very much into big cubes. In fact until now I only had a 4x4 (an Aosu that cost like $24) but, for just $9 who can resist to get a good 5x5? I'll tell you how it feels when I get it but I'm not gonna be a very good reference, I'm afraid.

Hello! This is kinda off topic but: What feel does the Gans 356 have (Scratchy, buttery smooth, etc.) and what issues have you experienced with it? I've been looking into a new main and I've been interested in it lately.

Its one of the smoothest cubes ive ever had! The biggest issue is catching, though.

So I am normally very good with getting cubes, but I have a very very VERY rough turning style, and my Gans 357 pops, my weilong pops, but I like the feel of the Gans. Anything like it but more stable?

Dayan vs. Yuhu?

I just got the Yuhu, I don't have the Dayan and I'm not good at megaminx but, for what I've seen up to now the Yuhu is not better than the Dayan in terms of corner cutting and it's slippery to turn. Also the stickers are too small due to the protruding shape of the pieces and are badly placed in some pieces and also seem to be chipping already so I will have to replace them soon, which is a nuisance in a Megaminx. I think I should have gotten the stickerless version :(

All in all, right now, if I had to buy a Megaminx again I'd go with Dayan with ridges, probably the stickerless version.

Aosu or yuxin?

Does the Aosu and the mini Aosu have the same performance? Or is one better than the other?

the aosu (full size) is generally better than the mini. the mini has some sluggishness. yuxin vs aosu. hmm. my aosu took a lot of time to break in, and after about 8 months with it, its starting to get good. talking to some ppl, they say the yuxin is better.

Your "My 3x3 Progress" is depressing. You achieved a 19 avg in two months. It almost took me two years. You achieved sub-10 in a year so it will take me twelve :) Not bad at all, I will be 55 by then and will probably be the Spanish champion for my age if they ever make a sup-50 years category :-P

I have a yuxin but not an aosu. Ootb the yuxin was not that impressive, especially slow inner layers, and locky outer layers. With breaking in and good tensions both issues have become lesser, and I have yet to lube the cube as it is still breaking in. I would recommend the yuxin.

is that relevant to 4x4s or the aosu? no. dont say that. everyone improves differently. I just did it quickly because I solve for most of the day on a regular basis. im sure you would do the same with 4+ hours of free time to cube every day.

No, I'm sorry but it is not relevant to 4x4s or the aosu. I just read your post, clicked on your signature and was like "oh my!".
But you're right, I should not go off-topic so, here I come with my 2 cents. There are people that say the Yuxin is a bit more locky than the Aosu. I agree that the full-size Aosu is better than the mini unless you have really small hands. I have an Aosu and I never thought a big cube could turn so great out of the box. I don't use it that much nor I am fast with it, though.

I wasnt mad at you for the irrelevant post. I was mad at you for doubting yourself. keep at it and set short-term goals. those are key, and helped me get to where I am.

thats weird. my aosu SUCKED out of the box. (however, it is my first big cube so I have nothing else to compare it to.) it definitely needed setting up.

I compared my Aosu with a Rubik's 4x4 that needs a pneumatic drill to turn it and also with a stickerless Diansheng which also was well, hideous, so maybe my expectation was so low that I'm biased.

Hey everyone, so I'm looking for a new cube. I have a rough turning style and my turning can also become inaccurate at times when I'm executing algs quickly, so I think a heavier, stable and controllable cube would be ideal for me. Most cubes out there today don't have a problem with pops and have very good corner cutting, so I'm just looking for the cube least prone to lockups. My main concern is being able to turn fast with a good flow. I don't have a problem with corner twists as long as they don't happen often. I prefer clickier cubes over smooth, quiet ones but it's not a main priority. So, what would you recommend?

Cong's Design YueYing and MeiYing are very resistant to locking up, with the YueYing being a bit more controllable. I always feel that if you feel your turning style is too rough, to just slow down and clean that up with a cube on tighter tensions.

I use the aolong v2. it is PERFECT! I might try a Gans 356 soon but I highly doubt it will be as good.

Ok about the Gans 356. I noticed that some people ( Faz, Gabriel Dechichi, me, a lot of other ppl) absolutely love this cube, but others say it sucks. And I think it is just down to how lucky you are. For example, my friend and I each ordered a Gans 356. Mine felt awesome, but his was pretty bad. Mine did not have any catches or lockups, but his was the exact opposite.

So, getting the Gans 356 is a gamble. You either love it or hate it. Fortunately, I loved it. XD
