Is the aolong v2 faster than the zhanchi

I have an Aolong V2 which I used as my main for a couple of months and recently bought the ShengShou Aurora and a Dayan Zhanchi. The Zhanchi turns lighter, with a lot less effort. Both are on par with speed right now but that's just how i made them, used higher weight lubricant in the Zhanchi. The Zhanchi has a lot more potential to be faster. The ShengShou though smooth needs the most effort to turn out of all three. The Aolong cuts corners with more ease and pops alot less then the Zhanchi. Despite that I use the Zhanchi as my main now.

If you can afford it, just buy both ;-).

I have the zhanchi but I wanted to buy a new cube so I was thinking aolong v2

I just got the HuaLong and thought it was really floppy. More so than the WeiLong. I need to spend more time with it to make sure.

So far, I think the YJ SuLong and the QiYi Bullfight are the most stable cubes I've tried.

I am also very happy with my YJ ChiLong stability and, for me, it's an improvement over the SuLong. I also like the Weilong a lot but I have to agree that it is not as stable, it wants to move all the time :) No idea about the QiYi (Bullfight or Thunderclap) as I have not tried those.

Yeah, the WeiLong and HuaLong really want to move. I think the Bullfight might suit you. It has that great stability of the SuLong/ChiLong blended with the weight and smooth turning of the WeiLong. It was a bit sluggish out of the box but a bit of light silicone lube made it very snappy. It might finally displace my SuLong as my main.

I have a Hualong in the mail but I don't expect it to be fully controllable for me yet, I just couldn't resist to the fact it was on sale for just $11 USD. But if the QiYi Bullfight is going to replace the YJ Sulong as your main it must really be worth trying. I know that you really, really like the Sulong ;-). I have also been looking for something that I like better than the Chilong and I haven't found anything yet (more than 12 different 3x3s already tried). I had some good solves with the Yuxin a couple of weeks ago (it's the only other 3x3 with which I've managed to get a sub-15 full step) but I was not nearly as consistent with it so I went back to Chilong.

That is a good deal for the HuaLong and it's a good cube worth trying. I just need something more stable or I end up doing inadvertent slices and turns that really kill a solve. I will have to try the YuXin 3x3 at some point. I really like their 4x4.

Need some cube suggestions

Hey guys! My name is Goran Gaming, and I've been cubing for around 5-6 months. I have Dayan Guhong, 3x3 and I have purchased Dayan Guhong V2. I am a BIG Fan of Dayan Guhong cubing style, as a feeling, and as speed. Do you guys have any suggestions on cubes that have the same feel, than Dayan Guhong V1 and V2? (for 3x3 cubes) Thank you for the answer!

Also, I just got my FIRST 2x2, and It's a ShengShou, black. Do you guys think it's a good cube for a 1st 2x2? Any suggestions?

Thank you for reading my post, and thank you for the answers in advance :)

I'm not the right person to answer for the first question cause I've never touched a guhong

but uh as for the second question yeah it's decent I've had it, but mine broke when I tried to tension it cause I was dumb

putting it back together seemed impossible, then I lost an edge piece so I'm screwed until I feel the need to get into 2x2 and buy one

Nothing seems to resemble the clickyness of a guhong. Ive 48 PEMd it and it felt real smooth.

And for the 2x2, its okay for now. When youd get faster get a lingpo --> dayan

Thank you for the answers guys! Well, i'm really dissapointed oTf that. I mean, GuHong for me is an amazing cube! Let's hope they'll make another version of it.

The closest you might come to it is a WeiLong. As far as 2x2 the lack of reverse corner cutting will cause some issues with the SS. I just did a video going over 2x2 cubes.

I think youll be disappointed. Dayan has stopped making new 3x3 models in the recent 3 years.

^Agree the Weilong may feel like the guhong. The bumpier v1 may feel more -guhong like than the v2. Also, the Guhong v2 is pretty neat. It's still a decent cube, but some people just hate it due to its old age
