[Help Thread] Puzzle Choice Thread

So I'm getting back into speed cubing. It's been a couple of years, so I'm not up to date on the best current models. I'm currently looking for a stickerless 3x3. What are some of the best ones atm? Preferences are that corners won't accidentally twist, and that popping is minimized. Thanks!

The best one of the three you mention, without a doubt is the Weilong, so you can buy two of them. Anway, if the only problem with the zanchi is that the stickers are peeling you can also re-sticker it. I think it will be cheaper than a new cube, if not by much.
 
Ok. Christmas is coming. I am deciding between a new rubik 3x3, 2x2, pyraminx, and mirror cube. I already have a Dayan 3x3, but don't have the rest. Label in order from 1 - 4 which one i should get
 
I'm getting a new cube, and i havent had any chances to try different cubes, and i was thinking of getting a few to try out different feels, mafergut helped me out quite a bit (thank you very much) by saying:

Does anyone know what he means by more rounded cube, for the aolong?
I have heard the huanying is extremelly noisy, is that true?
And which of those would the zhanchi fit in the best with?

Sorry. Been busy lately and could not take a look into the forum.

Aolong being rounded. I mean the cube is a bit more rounded in the edges than other cubes, which are more "sharp". Also the cube deforms a bit too much for my taste, the more so with loose tensions but that's just a matter of preference. The Weilong is more "square" than the Aolong and has less corner-twisting issues.

The Huanying IS very loud and very, very "square" as opposed to the Aolong. From more to less noisy (please somebody correct me if you have different opinion): Huanying, Chilong, Aolong, Weilong, Sulong, Aurora.

I'd put the Zhanchi, regarding feeling, in the same category as the Weilong but the Weilong is a better cube (more controllable, does not pop, ...).

i actually think the weilong will be one of them.

For slow cubers, fast cubes such as the weilong wont affect them
and for faster cubers it will (in some cases)
Well i'd say that a weilong would be good for you and the other 2 cubes will also be good for your sis
Zhanchi and Guhong are great alrounder cubes
 
55mm Dayan Zhanchi vs Moyu Aolong V2

HI all,
I was gonna get a new cube and was wondering which would be better? Im looking for faster mainly. I'm aiming for sub-10, was wondering which one is better for it.
 
I've got 29$ left on a rewards visa I got at work. I'm thinking of getting some fun cubes to add to my collection.

I know I want Moyu Crazy YiLeng and a Moyu Pyraminx, but I'm not sure what other puzzles might be good to add.

I'm thinking a 3x3x2, a mirror cube, maybe a floppy cube or even a 3x3x4. I'm pretty new to shape shifters, I have a windmill cube, and I have all the speed cubes I need. anything cheap that would be a fun cube to solve?

oh, I kinda want a square-1, but i do not know which one is best.

get a 2x2 Mirror block :D
as for SQ1 - MF8 v1 seems to be the best out there BUT i heard it stopped producing, so v2 (if you can still find the v1 then thats great)
