If you are just starting I would get a Shengshou Megaminx. QJ is not that great.

It's decent.

But really get the shengshou. You'll enjoy it far more.

Hey guys, I took about a 6-7 month break from cubing recently and am planning on getting back into the competition grind sometime soon. So I'm just wondering, have any really good 3x3's come out in the last 6 months that I should look at? I really don't wanna use my Panshi, and I'm willing to put down decent money to get a good cube. I've been looking at the Aolong, Aolong v2, DianMa, the Gans III v2, and the Weilong. So let me know what you guys think, thanks!!

Dianma (from what I've heard) isn't that great, Gans III v2 (57mm, right?) is really fast and has awesome corner cutting, but it makes it feel pretty unstable. It was my main for a little while, but it just felt too unstable and flexy (yes, the core actually flexes) that I decided to give it up. Weilong is a great choice, and same with the aolong, but if you are going to get the aolong, get the v2, and make sure it is the new batch of plastic, the old ones had problems. The v1 also had problems.

For the weight: Moyu Huanying/LiYing. They're both really good and light cubes.

Feel: Moyu aosu. Yes it's a 4x4, but there really isn't another 3x3 with the fangshi feel.

I've seen some mentions of lube in this thread but most of them seem like they could be somewhat out of date - in the interest of not buying a now sub-par lubricant, could anyone tell me what they believe the best is, currently? I have heard good things about Lubix and Traxxas. This is for an Aosu and an Aolong, in case it helps.
