Want to get into OH, but struggle with turning on my rs3m 2020.

I might try snag one of the last Guhong pro 54mm (yes ita discontinued), but is it good considering i struggle with turns on a 56mm cube ?

Or should i get one of those yj mini cubes ? Those are 50mm


Also want to get into clock but my SengSo clock isnt good anymore (i tried the qiyi before the new magnet changes, i hated it then).
Should i get the qiyi (lilac version probably) or the Sengso V2 ?

GuHong Pro 54mm may be a good choice for OH, I think DaYan will be releasing a new version soon though which is why it is being discontinued. I'm not qualified to advise on clock but I quite like the new ShengShou V2, it just looks a bit weird.

I think get the sengso v2 for clock, do you know if its possible to swap the rings and hour marks ? So that it looks like the qiyi.

For OH i might try both the 50mm yj ones and the Guhong 54mm (assuming its still in stock) and see what i like better.

Hello all, I'm looking to upgrade from my GAN 356M, as I have a job and money now (woohoo!). I'm looking for the quietest possible cube that fulfills the other criteria first and foremost. 1. I keep my cube relatively loose and fast, and use thicker lube to help maintain control. 2. Must be smooth, so maglev or ball core, and also must be magnetic, with fairly snappy magnets. 3. I'd like to keep it under $60.
The reason I'm looking for it to be as smooth and quiet as possible is because I use my 3x3 as a fidget in school. The teachers are all fine with it, and a few of them even time me when the class has free time. However, my 3x3 has become noticeably louder, and not exactly smooth either. Although I oil it regularly and have cleaned it within the last two weeks, it feels gritty. Upon inspection I noticed grooves and rough spots on the edge contact surfaces, caused by extensive use. By now I have nearly 2500 solves on this cube, and am getting faster. All suggestions will be carefully evaluated so as to make the best purchase. Thanks!

Hi there! I think the best really “quiet” cube with great performance is still the Tornado V3 Flagship. It’s older for sure (it was my first speedcube in 2023), but lube the springs and it’s almost noiseless at slower speeds. If you want a cube with slightly better performance, the RS3M v5 (ballcore) is still really good and fairly quiet with lube

A. Did Gan get the specified scrambles to finally work in the app?

B. Does the new Gan ARTHUR robot offer any advantages for me over the older Gan Robot(s)?

yeah imo the new RS3M’s are better. I think the RS3M Super is your best bet if you want something like the RS3M 2020, but almost everyone agrees that the RS3M V5 BC is the best RS3M as of right now.

I agree with Caleb. I just recently got an RS3M V5 BC, and it's amazing. The magnets are a little weak, but the corner cutting is awesome. Definitely recommend.

I decided to get the yj pocket cube and guhong pro + 55mm springs, ordering like next friday (also getting some mags for meilong 3m mod and a meilong v2m)

But, my qiyi m pro bc (2x2) isnt very good for my turning style, so im deciding to get a new one.

Here are the options ive narrowed it down to (budget isnt large enough for gan) :

- MGC Beta 2x2 (Standard)
- Rs2m Evolution
- YJ Yupo v2m
- YJ MGC
- Qiyi warrior M (uv)
- Vin 2x2
- Weipo WRS

Not really narrowed down but erm yh shhh

The Yupo V2m is an older cube that's not really up to standard with the rest on the list. While on the other hand the others are a much better choice to get. But really I've been liking the RS2M Evo the most out of that list while the other I haven't tried/used or isn't that good for me. Now I'm not a good pro 2x2 solver but the RS2M Evo I've had for several years now and it gets me really accurate times around my normal 7.5 second time range. I haven't really used it that much since I got the WeiPo V5 UV 20 mag ball core. But yeah I would really look into the RS2M Evo and/or look at reviews of the others before making a final decision.

RS2M Evo. No question about it. Most stable, most affordable for its performance, and as a bonus, its super quiet.

Thread 'Ball Core Weipo WRS Tutorial'

I made a Custom Ball core Weipo WRS and I thought I'd make a mini tutorial.
Step 1: Acquire the core from a Qiyi M Pro BC 2x2, I personally just took one from one that I already owned, but you could order one from TheCubicle.
Step 2: Acquire some magnets, I harvested mine from a Yuxin 4x4, and I used 2 of the big magnets, and one of the small ones per corner, but I think 1 or 2 magnets each from an Rs3m+ kit would work as well.
Step 3: Completely disassemble the Weipo.
Step 4: Place a drop of Super Glue on the corner piece of the Weipo, and place your magnet in the center MAKE SURE THE...
