It's fine to adjust 4x4 screws. Being told not to is just bad advice lol. Any cube will pop if you make it too loose.

If its loose, then yes,tighten it. What I meant is don't loosen it too much, like I did.

I'm about to order new cubes, which currently includes a 3x3 and 4x4 but I have extra money and I want to learn another event. I thought about 5x5 but I realized it's probably pretty similar to 4x4. So I'm considering megaminx, but I want more options. (WCA only also no skewb) if you have suggestions please reply

I already do 2x2, and pyraminx looks kinda cool, I was wondering about mega tho, also, is squan good?

Yeah squan is quite fun, although it takes a while to learn. Would be nice if you're looking for a challenge!

Megaminx is surprisingly similar to 3x3. If you want something different, I'd suggest Square-1 (more challenging than 3x3) or Pyraminx (less challenging than 3x3).

It doesn’t matter. Do what you like. I’d pick 4 over 5 as it’s more basic and makes the transition to 5 easier. Also could you stop spamming threads it really isn’t helpful

Its fun (imo), easy to learn, as you only need to learn like 3 or 4 more algs than 3x3, and popping occasionally (depends on the cube).
To some people, 5x5 might be easier to learn and more fun, but I'm biased since I like 4x4 better. Reassembly I'd quite hard, though. 5x5 might be easier to Reassemble.
