Hey folks, haven't been around in a while. Have a few questions on current cubes:

- Is XingHen still a top tier 2x2? Is there anything that is markedly better currently?
- Best 3x3 under $5 in terms of build quality.
- Best 4x4 regardless of price in terms of performance and quality. Currently have a WuQue M. Anything better on the market yet?

I can say the best 3x3 under 5 bucks is the MF3RS 3x3. It is amazing for a cube that cheap and I even use it myself.

Thinking of getting a ghost cube. 2 questions, how hard are they to solve on a scale of 1-10 3x3 being a 3, also tell me how hard you think a 4x4 and 5x5 is on that scale. (I don't want to change the topic of this thread so just add this as a little extra if you answer my next question

2) Where to get a ghost cube from. Can you get stickerless ones, and which ones are good quality ones as ive been told the original company that started making them stopped.

Yeah, the Thunderclap V1 is pretty good, from what I've heard, although it is a bit outdated. For a beginner cuber though, any cube will work fine. I know some fast people used to use it as their main back in ~2015 (Chris Olson comes to mind), so you definitely can be fast with it. :)

Starting with the latter, "quality", well,
is the highest quality.

Then comes the "performance", so
works best for increasing cube performance.

Anyone?

A ghost cube is a 3x3 mod, so if you can solve a 3x3, you theoretically can solve a ghost cube. I'd give it a 5-6 on that scale though, because it is definitely one of the hardest 3x3 shape mods to wrap your head around. A 4x4 is probably around a 6 or 7 just because of the parity algorithms and the fact that building centers and pairing edges can be confusing at first. A 5x5 would probably be around the same; if you can solve a 4x4, you should be able to figure out a 5x5 from what you know.

I have the FanXin ghost cube, which is one of the cheapest on the market. It's pretty good quality too. Personally, I think ghost cubes look better with stickers, but if you really want a stickerless one, I guess you could just peel the stickers off. My FanXin actually came without the stickers applied (but with them included in the box), but I'm not sure if they still do.

What about MF3RS2?? Isn't the 2 the newer one??

Edit:
I see these M-Series Ghost cubes on Lightake are they any good? I'll consider as FanXin but i want a decent quality one, I don't mind spending the money.

I am not sure.....I don't have it yet. I was looking into buying one and the question you asked is the one I am asking others LOL! :) So I don't know which is better....maybe there's a Youtube review or something.

Also, what 3x3 do you have now?
