Zhanchi doesn't pop that much if you have it at good tensions. Sounds like yours is too loose

I would suggest you tighten your zhanchi. If you set your tensions on your guhong the same way, it will pop. Check your zhanchi to make sure there are torpedoes in it.

If you want a cube that has a higher ability to resist pop-ups, I recommend the Fangshi Shuang Ren, Moyu Huanying, or Moyu Weilong.

Of these 3 the WeiLong pops the least

Guhong v2s only pop if they are at RIDICULOUSLY loose tensions.
They are also unbelievably smooth.
Personally I love them.

Is it true the Fangshi is near silent? I want to buy a Weilong as a main since I love fast, zhanchi like cubes, but the Fangshi seems to be very quiet. I would want it to use on planes or buses and stuff..

No the Fangshi isn't silent unless you lube it. If you lube it it (from my experience) turns slow and gummy and disgusting. Otherwise it's actually rather loud. I may be lubing it wrong or something though.

rj, do you have the Gans? If so how is it?


Also the if you want silent, I would consider the ShengShou Aurora, but I think the Weilong is a better overall cube if you like fast.

My Weilong is quieter than my Fangshi.

color of a cube

i'm buying a zhanchi. it is available in so many colors like black,white etc., which color is more good for speed-cubing and which color will help our brain to intepret it faster?

It all depends on what you are used to. I have a yellow one on which I am faster than on black or white or even primary and purple.
