I am looking for a new puzzle that I can enjoy solving for quite a long time. I want either Pyraminx, Master Pyramorphinx, Square-1 or Skewb Ultimate. I was mostly thinking about Pyraminx and Master Pyramorphinx, but I just wanted to make sure what do you guys think.

Sqaure-1 is challenging. Pyra gets boring after one week.

Pyraminx in my opinion is a great and fun puzzle to have. Its not a great challenge to figure out though, so you might end up putting it aside. I would try Pyraminx plus another puzzle to keep you entertained!

I have some money to spend, so I'm thinking of buying a
Guhong v2, QJ Pyraminx, MF8 Square-1 and a lanlan 2x2.

I haven't solved anything other than a 3x3. I like new challenges (hence the sq-1).
Is this alright? or should I get two or three 3x3s and try getting good at that first?
Also, should I rather get a megaminx, skewb, clock, etc than the ones I intend on getting?

Edit: I only own a Rubiks brand a guhong v1 right now.

Don't bother getting a Guhong v2. A lot of people think that buying more 3x3s will magically make you faster, but unless you're using a storebought, only practicing will do that. I'd suggest getting a megaminx or a skewb- clocks get kind of boring after a while. For megaminxes, get an mf8 v2 or a QJ v2. For a skewb, just get whatever kind you can find (I use a QJ, but I don't think there's a huge difference.

while we're on the topic of sq1

no on answered my post earlier so
what is a good square-1 to get?
i have the MF8 vII currently
MF8 vII is usually considered to be the best. Some people think that the vI was better, and you could try it out if you want to, but there probably won't be much of a difference.

WHAT CUBE SHOULD I GET?

I want a cube that is crispy (but not as crispy as an AV), and I also want a fast cube(faster than an AV but not as fast as a zhanchi).

What stickerless dayan should I get?
Do they come with an orange side?

I have a guhong v1 modded to a godly, alpha V, zhanchi, alpha 1, lunhui, rubik's brand, and another guhong v1. I just want a stickerless dayan but I'm not sure which one. I don't really like the combination of super crispy and super smooth of zhanchi's and the zhanchi I have right now is slower than my rubik's brand.

Hey guys, I'm new here so please dont hastle haha.

Basically I'm getting either one or two new cubes to help me learn Fridrich method (currently I use F2L and beginners method for the last layer). At the moment I'm using a store bought cube that I've worn in over the course of four or five years. It has very nice speed and corners, however is slightly heavier than what i would like and tends to lock up.

I'm basically looking for a cube that won't lock-up and will pop as infrequently as possible.

Also, since i have never used a non-store bought cube before (other than my eastsheen 5x5), i have no preference towards smooth vs clicky nor flat vs pillowed, so I'd like to hear your guy's opinions.

Also, what is the difference between plastic colors?

What I'm considering thus far:
Alpha V
V-Cube 3
F-ii
Haiyan

Thanks,
Constantine

You should also consider dayan cubes. (guhong, zhanchi) They're probably the most popular 3x3s at the moment.
Cube colors don't really make a difference. I like white.
and on a side note: a new cube won't exactly help you learn a method.

And, welcome to the forums!

I am planning to buy the 3x3cubes (someone stole my lunhui).I don't like A5 because it too loud, i like F2 and zhanchi. So I decided buy them both, F2 for practice, zhanchi is for competing. But I heard that F2 is so light and if you play with it, it hard to change to zhanchi because zhanchi is heavier. I need help, shuoldI still buy F2 or not?(im 14 yrs).
