I average around 15-20 secs and im confused whether to get a moyu weilong or an aolong ...Plsss help
i currently use the fangshi and i like the feel .......

The WeiLong is better in my opinion but I think the AoLong feels more like the FangShi out of the two. The AoLong does have a scratchy feeling like the ShuangRen but that feeling goes away very quickly. Both cubes are smooth but the AoLong has more of a bumpy/bubbly smooth feeling whereas the WeiLong is just overall very smooth with no clicky feeling or bumpiness. Other than that they are pretty much equal when it comes to speed and corner cutting. To be honest though you could pick either and be fine.

My aolong is not scratchy at all. I say it's the opposite of the scratchy feel. Do you have one?
As a matter of fact, I own an Aolong. After doing solves on My Aosu, the Aolong feels quite smooth actually. Mine was scratchy out of the box, but after breaking in it has become smooth and blocky.

Mu Aolong is yet to come so cant say anything about that, but Weilong feels more stable to me. I currently use fangshi but the weilong is better. Like Tina said, buy whichever you want. The thing I saw from revires and stuff is that Aolong can corner twist easily. Comparing this case to Weilong, it is very rare for Weilong to corner twist. So weilong is a sure win but still dont make a rash decision!
Cheers!

My fangshi is on loose tensions and i get a corner twist in 1/30 solves

It really only corner twists on loose tensions, so if you like loose tensions, I wouldn't recommend it, but I use tight tensions and have maybe had two or three twists.
I have done at least 500 solves on my Aolong and have received only 1 twist. It is still on stock tensions.(I don't care about tensions that much.)

Well maybe your turning style or you have a slow tps ..and you should care about your cube's tensions

Things like pops, lockups, and corner twists while somewhat affected by tensions, are dependent on the cuber. I prefer very loose tensions on my cubes but I rarely get pops, lockups, or corner twists. I did get a few corner twists on my AoLong at first but it just takes a little getting used to like all cubes.

You really should, tensioning is pretty important.

If you're only going to get one of them, I would say get the 9x9. Most people think odd layer cubes move better because they don't require internal pieces. Or if you're going for just the biggest possible cube, get the 10x10 of course. Based on most opinions, I would not recommend the 8x8 over the 9x9 or 10x10. In this video, crazybadcuber says that the 9x9 "is the smoothest cube I've ever felt." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlNJuez2toA

EDIT: this got moved, and the post it was in response to apparenly isn't here.

Hi Everybody, I have currently been on the quest for the perfect speedcube for me.
I have tried a Zhanchi, Chilong and Aolong.?
Honestly, I don't understand why people say the Aolong is fast. My Aolong is sluggish and harder to turn(Even After lubing) than my Chilong. Will changing tensions help? From the Aolong, I think I don't like Moyu cubes. I turned to the Zhanchi, but then POP POP POP. What do you think would be the best speedcube for me? I am planning on getting a Yulong and Weilong soon.

Clean out the Aolong first and see if that helps.

I am also not a fan of the AoLong but not because I find it sluggish, it just doesn't suit my turning style. If your AoLong is hard to turn then it could be a tensioning issue or you may have over-lubed it. Do what Michael said and take it apart and clean it out which will take care of both possible issues.

I loosened it a bit . Whenever, I lube my cubes, I only put 2 drops of silicone below an edge and then work it in. I don't think lube was a problem, the tensions were. It is way better and faster now.9
I will still try to find the best cube for me. I like cubes that are fast,smooth/scratchy/clicky like the Aolong(no Fangshi's) and light (cubes feel effortless to turn) NO POPS. My Aolong is heavier than my Chilong, so Chilong is more comfortable, but Aolong is better in terms of performance.

If you don't like the AoLong, then you are very picky. Your best option based on what you want would be a WeiLong, however, it isn't scratchy.

I don't lube the pieces on my cubes. I just take the entire cube apart and lube the core and hardware. Based off of what you described I would probably suggest the YuLong since you axed the ShuangRen. It's clicky, fast and doesn't pop but pops are caused by turning and not necessarily the cube. You mentioned earlier that your Zhanchi pops. I have 8 Zhanchis and none of them pop but that is probably because I am used to how a Zhanchi turns. Some cubes just take getting used to. The WeiLong is also an option but it's very, very smooth and you said you would prefer a smooth/scratchy/clicky cube so I don't know if you would like it. Another cube you may like is the Gans III v2 simply because it's very light as well as crunchy. But honestly it really doesn't matter what speed cube you use. It is important to find a cube you like but there is no such thing as the perfect speed cube.
