quite fast

Yeah not crazy or insane my weilong is very well set up with light amounts of lubix and it ist crazy fast

A 10x10 or 11x11? Please give reasons why. I like even layered cubes as much as odd ones so that isn't a factor.

if you dont have a 9x9 get a 9x9 the size is good and you dont die holding it, win win

You probably don't have it set up all that well. They're usually quite fast. Although some do say otherwise I usually suspect tensioning and lubing.

My weilong is well, but there's really minimal lube on the cubies. As soon as I put any drop of traxxas it feels gummy, but core is well lubed and tensions are good. Most of people don't put any lube at all on the cubies anyway. Both of my zhanchis are lubed the same way with one to two drops of traxxas on the cubies and they are wonder. I suspect the plastic of weilong and zhanchi is much different. On a zhanchi I put a drop of traxxas, work it in, and it only gets faster. On the weilong I put a drop of traxxas, work it in, and it only gets gummier. Same process, different result. And my weilong with unlubed cubies is still a little slower than my zhanchi with traxxas. But of course, the weilong makes corner cutting a joke where it isn't as smooth on the zhanchi, the weilong is more error permissive. So I'd say, depending on the turning style, weilong might be faster, but if all layers are well aligned and I don't corner cut, my zhanchis are way easier to turn ( after breaking them in, it's quite crunchy at first, but goes away within 7-10 days ).

Do people generally prefer the Weilong v1 or v2. I know the only difference is in design is to make stickerless cubes possible, but are there any differences in terms of the feel that people like or dislike?

I have a black v1 and a stickerless v2. For whatever reason they feel slightly different (out of the box, unlubed and untensioned). My v1 turns a lot more faster, while the v2 is not as smooth and corner cutting is not as good. But I think it's just the case of lubing the cubes and tensioning it for them to feel the same.

Hi! I have a Dayan Zhanchi and I'm thinking about getting another cube since I might have a few dollars to spare, and I heard that the Shengshou Aurora and the Maru CX3 were very popular and have gotten good reviews. Also, I'm open to any other suggestions. Also, some general pros and cons of each would be nice. Thanks! :)

CX3: controllable, loud as hell, expensive
aurora: very controllable, cheap, no torpedoes, smooth
Moyu Weilong: Very fast, semi-controllable, smooth, completely unpoppable.

Hey Folks,
I am sub 35 and use Weilong but is is too fast for me and cant control it properly. I ordered a Chilong some days back and is yet to come, so should I stick with the chilong or buy some another cube ?

Dayan 2x2 vs Moyu lingpo.
I'm using now a shengshou 2x2,with an normal average around 9 seconds with ortega.
But I'm having to much lock-ups to get faster.

the only difference is the 2 vs. 3 piece corner design of the Moyu Weilong vs. the Moyu Weilong v2. This makes the Moyu Weilong v2 more of a downgrade. Watch my review to find out more!
