Hi Guys I'm 10 and a bit of a speedcubing noob and I currently have a single of 0.48.
Im interested in going to competitions now but my current cube (Dayan Guhong V2) is stickerless and so Im looking
for a non-stickerless cube. If possible could it be available off Amazon! Also as I'm 10 my allowance is only enough for 7 pounds or under!!!:D Could you reply please because I would be grateful!!!:tu
p.s 3x3x3
ahh my time to shine http://wallbuys.com/Product/Fangshi-ShuangRen3x3x3-for-Speed-Cubing-DIY-Kit-Black-57mm--10092 here is one for 10 dollars, and free shipping ( or so it says), it is a fangshi but if you want another cube, you can look around.
10.25 is £6.20 ish... i hope to buy it in the near future
the shipping is probably gonna be slow ( free, international... you do that maths)

I'm in need of a good 2x2. Speed, smoothness, and sound don't matter that much. However, it has to corner cut. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I'd, preferably, like it to be on the cheaper side but not so cheap that it lacks performance.

Lingpo is good as well. I like my Dayan and Lingpo.
But I am posting to say never get a Wit two.
It is the worst 2x2x2 I have ever touched. ^Apparently they were good but not anymore. At least not mine.

My LingPo locks up a bit. But, that may be because of my tensions.

Quietest Cube

What's the quietest cube that's out there?
It doesn't have to be very fast, but not a bad cube.
Don't say Rubiks storebought, mine makes more sound then my Shengshou (standard) and Zhanchi.

I want to use it when watching tv or listing to the radio without annoying the rest of the family.

55mm zhanchi. I'm serious. That thing is quieter than my wind. I love normal Zhanchis but they're so loud. I was amazed just how quiet this was.

Thanks for the advise kclejeune and ThomasJE I'll take a look at both of them.
It sounds a bit strange that de 55mm zhanchi is so much quieter, but I'll see.

I can also vouch for the 55 mm ZhanChi. It has a different feel than the 57 mm. I have read that a lot of people have had the same experience.

I don't know what makes it quieter, but my theory is that the air-to-plastic ratio is smaller, so that there is less resonance. Perhaps in combination with different/better molds for the 55 mm.

The quietest cube I have owned was the PlasmaCube GuHong, but I was a tiny bit faster with my 55 mm ZhanChi, so the ZhanChi is now my main.

One thing with the ZhanChi I learned today was that I prefer it with the torpedoes in. I took them out yesterday to see if the cube would be even more smooth and quiet, but I experienced the opposite. I don't know what makes it more quiet with the torpedoes, but maybe they keep the edge pieces in place when corner cutting, so that the pieces don't snap together as hard. Or maybe they make the cube turn more accurately.

I also used to own the ShengShou Aurora. It was very quiet when turning and extremely smooth, but from what I remember the corner cut snap was loud. I have ordered a new one and I'm going to give it another try.

First of all there are several threads you could post this in.

But anyway, there is debate for all of them. 2x2 either Dayan or LingPo. 3x3 there are so many. 4x4 either Shengshou v5 or Moyu WeiSu.

Ok sorry but does moyu wienlong work for 3x3?

If you mean the MoYu Weilong, then yes, it works for 3x3. It has eight corners, 12 edges, and a functional core. It also comes with stickers. If you couldn't tell, the cube is 3 pieces by 3 pieces by 3 pieces, effectively making it a 3x3x3 cube, which is legal for the 3x3x3 event, 3x3x3 One-handed event, 3x3x3 Blindfolded event, 3x3x3 with feet event, and 3x3x3 Multiple Blindfolded event. It can also be used for Fewest Moves.

Sarcasm aside, the Weilong is a pretty good cube that many high profile speedcubers use. However, it's very fast, and can sometimes be described as uncontrollable. Purchase at your own risk.

Which 2x2 cubes should I get?

I have a Dayan and Wittwo. Should I get a Moyu Lingpo or Fangshi ShiShuang? Which one is better in your opinion? Thanks.
