For Square-1, I think Calvin's is considered the best. It is identical to the MF8, but with different plastic.

ShengShou is not bad for beginners... For more advanced solvers:
3x3: Dayan ZhanChi / Gans III / Mo Yu Wei Long
Wow, that's LOT of choices for the 3x3
4x4: Mo Yu Wei Su / even ShengShou is perfectly good
Megaminx: Dayan or mf8

Oh that's one of the normal Square-1 color schemes

Shengshou is almost as good as the Dayan megaminx and also is a lot cheaper.. If you mod the shengshou megaminx then it will be as good as the Dayan one or maybe better..

Never said it wasn't haha I love mine and I use a mini for OH still.

Zhanchi is a cube that has definitely been discussed enough; there is nothing left to say. Obviously people will focus more on the new cubes; I'm probably not very wrong if I assume that most OH cubes are zhanchis. People just have no reason to hype the zhanchi, that story already died.

I'm looking for an OH cube. I've been considering the Zhanchi 55 and 50mm and the FangShi 54.6mm. I've had a 55mm zhanchi and I cant really remember if it was small enough. I have fairly big hands so a 50mm might be an overkill. Has anyone tried a fangshi for OH? Is it anyones main? Is any of these cubes sold in primary colour plastic and if yes, where exactly?

I know that FangShi ShuangRen V2s (57mm edition) is sold in primary plastic, but I havent found 54.6mm Fangshis made completely from primary, just the illusion one that has both primary and black plastic. http://www.fasttech.com/products/2115/10004530/1389201
