Cube difficulties?

So I can solve the 3by3 in just under a minute, and am looking for something more challenging/will take longer.
I'm wondering about the difficulties of the megaminx, 4by4 and 5by5 compared to the 3by3.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions or a next cube I'd like to hear them.

Thanks in advance.

So I have recently moved houses and other stuff has happened- I haven't touched a cube in 7-8 months. I had a stickerless 57mm Zhanchi, but I can't seem to find it post-move (I remain hopeful). I liked it a lot, but it was the only speed cube I've ever owned, so I really have no frame of reference. I did some cubing semi-seriously for about 5-6 months before I moved. I think I got down to around 40-45s for an Ao3. I was still in the process of learning OLLs and PLLs as well as working on the cross on bottom when I had to stop. While I could still easily solve a cube, I'm suuuper rusty and I know I wouldn't be able to use the methods I used to know. I think I'm just going to start from scratch again. So, are there any tutorials you would recommend for me to use and cubes for me to get? Thanks.

There are a lot of tutorials on youtube. I recommend you learn PLL algorithms when you are sub 35-40 seconds. Learn OLL algorithms slowly, you should know full OLL perhaps when you are like sub 15. The most important thing is to focus on F2L. There are videos about this on youtube.

ShengShou Aurora is said to be a very good cube for beginners/intermediate cubers. A Dayan Guhong V2 is a very controllable cube. Dayan Zhanchi is fast, but not even nearly as fast as the MoYu WeiLong. The MoYu WeiLong is very fast, does not lock up but can be very uncontrollable. The FangShi Shuangren is a zhanchi-fast cube with a completely different feeling to it. There is no one single cube to rule them all. These are all good options to consider.

I would recommend Guhong v2, Moyu Huanying, or Shengshou
aurora.

42mm zhanchi

I agree. Get the stickerless one. The good thing I like about the 42mm Zhanchi is that is small enough to fit in you pocket but still big enough to fingertrick it well. Also if you get a stickered 42mm Zhanchi you will have a hard time finding replacement stickers for it. Also it almost never pops.

Izo sells them. Has anyone heard from him?
