Regular, just get lube and lube it yourself. 48-point edge mod doesn't help, as I've experienced with multiple Lubix Cubes, and other people have experienced. Also, lubix cubes come extremely gummy and takes quite a bit of breaking in.

EDIT: As for other cubes, my main is a 54.6mm Fangshi Shuang Ren, but it is very, very fast. I don't recommend for anybody slower than ~13.5

Dependimg on the size of your hands, the 55mm libix one sounds pretty good, since lubix cubes save you all the work of thoroughly lubig and tensioning the cube.

What's the consensus on silent cubes? I remember someone saying that a WeiLong is near silent but a Gan iii is completely silent, but on a video review the gan iii sounded really loud. Also someone said that a ShengShou Aurora was silent. Consensus?

My quietest cube is a Plasmacube Guhong. It is also my main, since I solve a lot on the commute to work. My 55 mm Lubix Zhanchi is also quiet, much more so than the 57 mm. I also have the Aurora, and it is really smooth, but still makes some noise from the inside. Maybe from the springs or screws.

If you like smoother cubes then go for the Dayan. Some people find that it can be a little too fast for them so if you're a beginner then you might want to consider the Wittwo because it is generally easier to control.

Thats not a shengshou, it's a YJ shensu. They are different.

Shengshou cubes are very cheap, don't be surprised. Also, i just checked wallbuys and they dont have the SS 4 or 5 (and for future reference, there are reputable). Try elsewhere, these cubes are worth the hunt.

None of them is "better" than the other, but I find the WeiLong the most quiet of the 3. It's also the fastest, and it might be uncontrollable

You could overlube it.

You have to change your turning style to fit the cube which is not really good.
You can over lube the cube to make it more controllable. For me, it takes a couple solves to get used the weilong. Eventually, you will get used to it and get good times with it.

Put assorted Wt 5 from the cubicle in it. Just a little will make it controllable.

Problem is, I don't live in the US.
I live in India.

You can over lube the cube to make it more controllable. For me, it takes a couple solves to get used the weilong. Eventually, you will get used to it and get good times with it.

It's controllable for the people that like super fast cubes and controllable for people that are used to the guhong v2 or zhanchi if they over lube the cube.
I would prefer the weilong because I never really liked the zhanchi and the weilong is my main. I have really bad luck with zhanchis. I have all 4 sizes of the zhanchi and all of them except the 42mm are either broken (50mm came broken and lightake still hasn't replied to the 6 emails I sent them about it) or super slow (57 and 55 are super slow). I tried other people's zhanchis and they were ok and much better than my zhanchis but I still got worse times with zhanchi's compared to my guhong v2 and weilong. My main before the weilong was a guhong v2 and before that, it was a guhong v1. I just prefer smoother, less clicky cubes.
