Wow, they really are much cheaper. Is it safe to buy it there? Why so much difference? Also the 11x11x11 is much cheaper.

Zcube is safe, I've ordered from there twice (although it's best to get HK post not China post for shipping). The shipping cost is the one thing to watch for - compare prices to other sites after you've factored in zcube's shipping costs to get a good comparison.

Also that's the gear cube extreme (V2) - it has two different kinds of edges, which makes it harder, whereas the V1 is fairly easy as ninja storm says. They have the V1 too.

Hello everyone.

Please be so kind and help me in finding a good puzzle cube, that fulfills the following criteria:

1) Stickerless - a must!

2) High quality materials. I do not mind if it is a heavier (as in solid built) cube. Quality should not only focus on the material(s) of the cube, but also on its' mechanism.

3) Smoothness of movements and cornering (i.e. having rounded corners) are highly appreciated. I assume these two traits are linked to the aspects underlined at point 2). If 3) is in contradiction with 2), due to "normal" cubes vs. speed cubes discussion, than please, detail your suggestion, as in this case, a compromise would have to be made.

4) It should be available to the general public (so no army grade materials jokes please).

I just want a quality and reliable product that, with proper and uncomplicated care, would last me in time and represent a proper challenge and a fun one.

Ultimately, this is what is all about with Rubik's.

THANK YOU in advance and God bless!

V cube 7 vs V cube 7 Dazzler vs Shengshou 7x7

I am wanting to buy a 7x7 cube but I am unsure on what to get.

Can anyone give me the points of v cube 7, v cube 7 dazzler, shengshou 7x7.

You should do more research before asking people, almost every thread about cube choice will point you toward a zhanchi or guhong. Bear in mind that you can't use sticker less in comps.

Hello every one and thank you for your thoughts.

@KongShou and others thinking alike. I did my research but every topic was similar, as they all had "speedcubing" in them. Since speed cubing is not, as you could have seen, a top priority for me, I considered to "revamp" the matter from a more speedcubing-less perspective.

That is why I also underlined the conditional relation between smoothness of the cube's mechanism and the whole speedcubing practice, since I am in no hurry of breaking down worlds recs. Just for fun!

Thank you again.

Is the 50 mm pretty small? I might get it for oh. But I'm not sure if it will be too small. A 55 mm would be nice for both probably. But it would be almost the same size. I don't know which is better for me. I don't have tiny hands but they aren't big either. What do you think sounds better for me? There will be an oh video on my channel so you could use that as reference I guess.

I have a 50mm, 55mm and 57mm Zhanchi, and small to average size hands. Thought 50mm would be good for OH, but it's a little too small even for me. You'd be surprised how much difference the 2mm between 55 and 57 makes. I'm no OH expert by any means, but the 55mm is familiar enough, without being unwieldy for small hands! Just my 2 cents.

In my opinion, the 55mm is an overall perfect cube size. For both one-hand and two-hand.
