v cube 7 and shengshou 7x7

I am going to buy a 7x7x7 cube but I don't know whether to get a shengshou or v cube 7.

I've seen there a lot of controversery over it

The shengshou is super smooth (apperntly smoother than the v cube 7) but it can corner cut well at all and it creates a massive mess when it gets stuck or won't corner cut.

The v cube 7 has smooth rotation (apperently) and has extreme corner cutting capability but it pops all the time according to a lot of people.

I would prefer to get a v cube because I've held the v cube 5 and it feels good to hold but the rotation wasn't fantastic on that one because is was a shop trial.
The thing I am most worried about is the popping. I don't want it always popping.

So inevitably I am asking how do you make the v cube 7 super smooth like the shengshou 7x7 (or at least near to it(would lubix be sufficient or sanding)) and my top priority of how do you stop it from popping (I've seen the inner peices pop alot) and I've noticed from watching 7x7 competitions and records that their v cube 7's didn't pop while cubing. Is there a way to permenently stop popping or minimize it in any way at all. Like the speedcubers in competions.

Shengshou all the way. V cube takes a year and a day to break in (Possibly more..), and it isn't adjustable. If your hands are not huge you might want the mini SS.. It's much better. As for popping/lockups, a lockup on the SS causes a pop on the V cube (in my case anyway), so it's all about how accurate you are. Oh and as for 5x5, go SS also. It's so much better, and is adjustable.. and DOESN'T pop if it's not extremely loose. So yeah go SS for pretty much every big cube :D

You should just get a Shengshou and mod it.
 
Is the Type C1 any good? I was looking at getting one because I wanted a cheap, blue cube to put world map stickers on, and zcube has them. If anyone knows of a better, cheap, blue 3x3 then suggestions are welcome.
 
Which is the better cube?

Hi everyone,
I am considering to buy a new cube around 700 INR .
I am pretty much a beginner. I have narrowed down to guhongv1, guhongv2 and zhanchi.
Which do you guys think is better?
I am not going to buy a new one soon (around a year perhaps)

Consider a ShengShou Wind. It's much cheaper, good for beginners and can take you to sub-20. I can't really comment out of the ones you mentioned as I only have a ZhanChi.

It's been more than 3 years since I solved my last cube. I was at 15 seconds single and 20 avg and now it got me again. The reason was, that I wanted a 11x11x11 cube. I found one at http://51morefun.com/ and I thought I get some 3x3x3 cubes as well. I really liked the CI and the CII was my main cube until the end. I thought FII was a bit to poppy and I also did not like the A, B and D types. With the Cube4you DIY I had to many lockups. So, now I have found alot of 3x3x3 cubes at http://51morefun.com/ and I just dont know what to take. The ones, I dont know are:

DaYan 2 - GuHong
DaYan 2 - GuHong(v2)
DaYan 3 - LingYun
DaYan 3 - LingYun(v2)

EDIT: I've seen Type C III, IV and V!!! This is crazy, I want them. Please can you take all the 3x3x3 cubes into account for me? If there are other nice cubes than mentioned above, I would decide to buy at several places.

Go for zhanchi and guhong

I haven't even touched them ever. I don't think anyone uses them anymore, as the Dayan cubes are much better. Just go for guhong or zhanchi, they r really good.

Is it the Guhong 2 (plus) or the Guhong? I should get both, right? I also don't know if I should get the black or the white cubes. Is the plastic the same? I know from the C-series, that there is a difference.
