I have heard many great things about the Shenshou 4x4 v3, but for someone who has the v2, is the v3 better enough than the v2 that it would justify buying the v3? Is the v3 a big improvement of the v2?
I have both, and the VIII is a little smoother than the VII. Also, the VIII never pops, while I found the VII exploded pretty often.

Thanks! My vII also pops a lot :( I will definitely go ahead and get the VIII. Those explosions are too annoying.

Which Square-1?

My birthday is coming up at the end of this month, and I was making a birthday list. I want a new Square-1, because my CubeTwist pops too often. I heard that Mf8 made a good square-1, so I went on Amazon to see if they had a Mf8 sq-1. They do, but there is a new version and an old version, which one is better?
New: amazon.com
Old: amazon.com

Also, do you guys have any suggestions of fun new puzzles I should ask for? So far I'm only asking for the Mf8 Super Square-1, a shengshou 6x6, and the Mf8 square-1.

What cube should get? I have an average of about one minute with a Rubik's storebought. I am relatively new and have a budget of $20. I am working on my F2L.

A lot of people are going to tell you to get a Guhong or Zhanchi. I think you should get one and make the tensions really tight or just wait until you are used to accurate turning before moving on. I moved to the Guhong when I was almost sub 20 and now it's really hard for me to use a rubik's brand because I got used to the epic corner cutting.

Actually you can get both for 20$ :D

But I reccomend ZhanChi, it's only 9 bucks if you use the coupon from my sig.

Actually, I'd recommend Cubedepot or puzzleaddictions. Even though it costs a little more, they ship from the US and it only takes a few days to get here, as opposed to DinoDirect, which ships from China.

Thanks! Do you think the stickerless version is ok? I hate peeling stickers and dull stickers. I am not planning to go to any competitions.
Ps Cool your from Ann Arbor too

Sure if you really don't want to go to a competition (there's one about 1.5 hrs from Ann Arbor in March).

You're the first person I met on here that's from Ann Arbor! wait do I know you? (might be easier to talk about this through private message)

Which do most people/you like better, the F II or the Lunhui? I generally hear that the Lunhui is the worst Dayan except the Taiyan, but it must still be pretty good, right?
