I am not sure if you are set on getting a Gan cube but I would watch some reviews on the Tengyun V2 M and see if you would like that. If you really only want a Gan than I would wait until their next cube comes out.
If you've always wanted a Gan, then wait. If you want something customizable right away there are options in the mid range price; I would agree that the Tengyun V2 would be a solid pick-up. There are also several other budget customizable cubes. If you want a Valk, the Elite won't be updated for a while. As far as the GTS line, the WR M and GTS3M are really solid and hard to beat. You should expect a totally different feel from other manufacturers. Enjoy!
IMO there’s no way it could be drastically better than the XS. Cubes are so good these days and I think the XS is a dream to solve with. There are so many customization options on the XS you’re sure to find something you like if the GAN cubes seem like a good fit for you. I never even touched the nuts on my XS, I modified the magnets then switched it back to the out of box settings.
I’d get an XS now if you can afford it or even better get a used one if possible and save some cash! The XS is a proven favorite and whatever comes out next may be marginally better or even potentially worse. It’d be more of a gamble but either way you’re gonna end up with a quality cube.
I want to get a new main because I don’t like my Gts2m and cubes have been coming out with customizable features. I was thinking of getting a gan. However, I’m not sure whether or not to wait to see what gan’s new 3x3 will be in June or go ahead and buy one now. As far as I know it could be a million times better than the xs or slightly worse. I just don’t know. I’m fine with waiting but if there is no reason to wait then I might as well get the xs now. Thoughts?
I frequently use the gts2m and don’t notice a huge difference between that and my other main cubes. It is nice to be able to swap the magnets though on the newer GAN Cubes. All the customizations with tensioning don’t really seem noticeable other than you ensure even tensions. It’s fun to tweak but it isn’t going to be a major difference if you already have your gts2m set up the way you like.
I hate it. It locks up for me, I can't get good times on it, it feels clunky, I just can't get used to it. When I switched to a MeiLong I immediately took 20 seconds off my time.

Me too plz lol. I have an MGC Elite 3x3 on the way with a Tengyun V2 that I may main over my WRM, Huanglong, and Tengyun v1. MGC 5x5 is amazing though. When the 4 and 7 release, I’ll probably also get the mega and 6x6 cuz I’m broke now.

The mega is not very good not gonna lie. The price of the galaxy v2 m/lm is worth it since you won't need any more upgrades after it until they come out with the v3 or when gan realizes people like ridges on their mega
