What's the pros and cons of moyu lingpo and dayan 2x2? Also which 2x2 cube is better than the dayan and moyu lingpo (depending on locks ups, corner cutting, speed, etc.)

dayan: amazing turning amazing corner cutting amazing feeling but pops if its not tensioned properly. spend 10 minutes playing with tensions and it will be perfect

lingpo: trash turning trash corner cutting trash feeling never pops so its basically a piece of trash dont buy this cube

Mine does not want to finish breaking in and right now it's not very good. Also it explodes now and then during a solve. I like my stickerless CB 2x2 better. Does it (the Zhanchi) really become great after some thousands of solves?

I heard that new dayan 2x2s have different plastic than the old ones

Can agree, literally only nubs use the LingPo

dayan : pros : everything; cons : pops

moyu : pros : no pops, turning is great, corner cutting is not the best but not the worst, fast..; cons : cc isn't as good as dayan (thats basically it)

Is the fangshi xingyu and type c wittwo good too? What are their pros and cons? And what are the rankings of the fangshi xingyu, wittwo, dayan, and lingpo. Eg. 1. Dayan 2.??? 3.??? 4.!!!

IMO 1dayan 2lingpo 3wittwo 4xingyu

OP(original plastic) is better.

It must be that, because my Dayan 2x2 is not good at all. I will keep breaking it in and, after that, disassemble, lube and tension properly but I don't expect it to become great after that. I'm not that much into 2x2 so as to buy also a Wittwo so I will keep using my CB just so that nobody calls me a noob for using a LingPo (which turns great but does not corner cut that much and also catches a lot).

So what cube should i use now since dayan isnt so great anymore

I have a Dayan that's terrible. It has this awful soft slow feeling that I don't like. I have to put it so tight it doesn't cut 45 and is super slow, and it still pops every ~100 solves.

I borrowed my friend's Lingpo and it was completely different. It has a fast, slightly crispy feeling that I love, you can loosen it as much as you want and it will never pop, the corner cutting has almost no dead zone, and it's almost uncontrollably fast.

Idk, either that's the best Lingpo ever, or maybe I'll be blown away by a good Dayan.

I have 3 LingPos and 2 DaYans. Nothing has made the DaYans usable. The DaYans corner cut well but I am constantly undershooting with them so they'll catch and fly out of my hands.

All the LingPos are very fast and crispy and when they get uncontrollable, I add a drop of 50K and their speed is perfect again. The only annoyance is that there's some internal catching when corner cutting but they corner cut well enough and the catching diminishes with time.

They're both good cubes but neither is perfect. I wish I could breed the two to make a crispy, fast cube with perfect corner cutting and no catching. Maybe someday somebody will make one but in the meantime, I'll keep using the LingPo.

I still dk which to get... Moyu lingpo seems good but my friend says he has it and it isnt as good as the dayan as it keeps locking. The dayan has to be set up to be good, but im not excatly the expert at setting cubes up, so im afraid i'll do it wrong and it will be like crap. Besides, my turning is kinda rough)(my tanglong popped on slightly tight tensions) so the dayan would most definitely pop every 3 solves or so.
Urghh can someone tell me their experience with both cubes? Dont tell me to get which cube just because everybody uses it. I just want to know how the 2 compares based on your experience with both cubes.
