I personally wouldn't recommend a weilong for someone who is sub 20, locks up more than my brain in an exam

Hey Im sub 20 and could control it fine (With occasional 14 second solves), all you need is a light turning style & dont overshoot

Yay though i do not own the sulong i have tried it. The sulong will be faster than the guhong (If both cubes are dry of lube). The guhong will need quite a lot of lube to be fast

If I might add to the discussion, my super broken in Zhanchi has a really nice feeling. It is moderately fast and smooth. I put a TON of thick lube (can't remember what) in it and it was really really really gummy. After that, I broke it in a lot and it feels kinda like a locky weilong (the only reason why I am planning to get a weilong.

Yeah, the WeiLong and HuaLong really want to move. I think the Bullfight might suit you. It has that great stability of the SuLong/ChiLong blended with the weight and smooth turning of the WeiLong. It was a bit sluggish out of the box but a bit of light silicone lube made it very snappy. It might finally displace my SuLong as my main.

I cannot find the QiYi Bullfight in any other store but TheCubicle. Where did you get yours? It is worth the 9 bucks then? How about the successor, the Thunderclap? I have heard nice things of that one as well.

I got mine at TheCubicle and definitely think it's worth the $9. It's the exact same cube as the Newisland Phoenix which is more expensive there but you may find it cheaper elsewhere.

It is significantly heavier than the SuLong and ChiLong so it doesn't feel quite as snappy but it is very smooth and stable.

I haven't tried the Thunderclap, yet so I can't comment on that one.

Hi. I need some advice. Those of you that already know me from this forum will surely know that I'm basically and almost only into 3x3 but I'd like to buy some other puzzles to sit and have fun once in a while and not just speedsolve.

Requirements:
- I don't want to invest a lot of money and end up as a collector. So something like the Dreidel 3x3, even if it looks gorgeous and interesting / challenging is out of the question with a price tag of around 30-40 bucks.
- I already have a good 2x2 and 4x4 (LingPo and regular-size Aosu), I'm thinking of something different, either a non-cubic puzzle or a shape-mod or something along those lines. I have a pyraminx as well, but I don't use it much if at all. I don't even have a skewb or any other puzzle but those mentioned here.
- I want something challenging but not impossible, preferably something that I can figure out by myself with my knowledge of 3x3 solving techniques but not necessarily.

What I have already found while looking around:
- I like how both the Moyu Crazy Hot Wheel and Crazy Yileng 3x3 (not the 4x4) look. Not sure if those would be a good choice, if one is more fun than the other, if they are similar or not but their price is within my budget for this and they are moyu so I assume they turn well and are overall good quality.
- Not sure that I would like a skewb but I would like to hear about this as well. Same with the square-1.
- Also not sure I'd like a megaminx. It looks like a bit bulky and difficult to solve without learning specific methods?
- I also have checked LanLan MoXing 8 Axis Hexahedron Rex Cube Flower but not sure if it is fun at all and good quality or if Moyu or others also make this puzzle.

I would like to hear from you. Thanks!

SKEWB FTWWWW!!!!!

But you are mistaken for megaminx. Solving a megaminx is like solving a 3x3 but doing F2L a few times. You only need to learn a few algs for LL.

Also the Fisher Cube seems like a good option for you.

I've only ever done nxn cubes but if I were to pick up something for casual puzzling, it would probably be a ghost cube. They just look so cool.

I prefer the AoChuang to the HuaChuang, actually. For 6x6, I use the AoShi and 7x7 the ShengShou Mini. The pillowing on the AoFu makes me angry. That cube moves really nicely and would be my main but I find it impossible to fingertrick.

Thanks. So is skweb so much fun really? :) Does it need many new algs to solve? Also, in case I get one, which one do you recommend? Moyu?
Regarding the Fisher I get you mean the Crazy Yileng 3x3?
