I'd say get the Aolong V2 or a Mini Aolong. They're both very well rounded cubes, and if you're looking for something different, I doubt you'll regret having them in your collection. Also consider that lubing a cube literally works wonders. Maybe after getting a little faster or more into the hobby, you can start picking colors from TheCubicle that you think you'll like, and experimenting with sticker shades.

Break it in until it is smooth. Then lube with Lubicle or Traxxas 50K. It will feel very smooth. Yulongs are cheaper so if you want a cube that feels more expensive get an Aolong.

Yuxin or Aosu 4x4?

Hi guys, I need a bit of help deciding if I should get the Aosu or the Yuxin 4x4. Thanks!

Yuxin. Although I like my AoSu better yuxins much more cheaper an just as good.

You say this without having tried the Yuxin...

I prefer my Yuxin (and most of my PBs are with it), but it does take a lot of work to make it better than an aosu.

I'd say Yuxin if the most important thing is the cost, Aosu if you don't want to put much work into it, Yuxin if you're willing to put the time and energy into making the best 4x4 you can.

My YuXin is easier and faster to turn, but my AoSu's (62mm and 60mm) are less catchy.
So at the moment I do not know which I like more.

If my 60mm AuSu would turn like the YuXin, it would be the better choice by far.

Yuxin. The inner layers are stiff out of the box, but break in pretty quick. Prefer over the AoSu.

I like the Yuxin better. It is faster, turns with less effort and has better corner cutting.

another thing to consider is the weight. YuXins are heavier than AoSus, enough to be noticeable.

I still prefer the Aosu. The Yuxin's outer layers and godly, but the inner layers are just so sluggish in comparison that it makes solving difficult. The weight isn't nearly as big of a deal as people make it out to be. The Yuxin is indistinguishable in weight to my HuaChuang IMO. Not exactly a tiresome cube to hold. But the inner layers are the clincher for me.

I'm not willing to have to take all that time to adjust my turning style just to get a nicer feeling 3x3 stage. The Aosu is more consistent feeling over all.

Yueying or guangying might me good. Also Aolong version two is good you should try it.

What cube is right for me?

I have two simple question that are, what 3x3 cube should I get and why? I am currently using a Dayan Zhanchi in which I am looking to replace. I have a personable best solve of 19 seconds with and average of 25 seconds. My other question is what is a good lubrication I can get with the new cube?

The problem is that there is no simple answer to your simple question. The lube one yeah, you can get either Maru lube if you don't want complications or silicone oil (traxxas, lubicle, thecubile, ... there are many) if you want to take your time to take the cube apart and lube the core and the pieces in a way that will last more than Maru. If you need more help with this you can ask specific questions in the Lubrication Thread.

But regarding what cube to get... do you like your Zanchi? Do you want something similar or different? Have you tried any other speedcubes that you might or might not have liked? Because right now there are so many good cubes out there that there is no "one size fits all" answer. Even the list of top cubes would have more than a dozen (Aolong, Weilong, Chilong, Yulong, Sulong, Huanying, Liying, Yueying, Gans 357, Guanlong, SS Aurora, FS ShuanRen, there's also a new Fangshi that I don't even know the name, the new Yuxin (I just got mine so no formed opinion on it yet).

If you can be more specific on what you would like (and how much you would like to spend) we will be able to help you better.

EDIT: The new Fangshi is the Guangying, by the way.

Yea your right its definitely not a simple question, because if it was i would already have the answer i am looking for by now. anyway i do like my zhanchi but I am looking to get a different cube with a different feel. I have tried out my friends Aolong v2, and I did like it but I'm not sure what I should get. I have have seemed to have narrowed down my choices to the (Aolong v2, weilong v2, Gans 357, or maybe the Fangshi Guangying). If there is any cube that stands out within the one's just mentioned, in terms of consistency and overall performance, I would love some input. Thanks.

Edit: I would also like to add that money is not a problem.
