I know this is a pretty random question but are moyu and yj same company and are just different brand names? I often wonder this because the cubes come in the same box with faz on it, and also I recently bought a moyu yulong with moyu logo but on box it said yj. thanks

I won't call myself subX until I average 100. I'm going for sub 20. I have had a 13.1 single, 18.1 ao5, 19.1 ao12, but 20.9 ao100.... Still got some work to do

Edit: just got an Ao100 19.973... looks like I can say I'm sub 20!

Congrats on getting Sub-20 status.. :) ..But if you're trying to do an average of 100 for a time-consuming puzzle (4x4, 7x7, Megaminx) Would the average still be okay if you didn't do all of the solves on the same day?

..It could be a possibility that YJ is the company name and Moyu is a certain series of cubes or vice versa.. I'm not really sure either.. .-.

I basically just think of them as the same, but IIRC they have some sort of deal where moyu uses YJ's factories.

For that average of 100 it was all in one day... I was going to stop earlier but could tell it was going well. I have a running counter going, so if I do 25 solves one day, and 50 the next day, and 25 after that I would count that as Ao100 since they are all in a row.... with a few naps in between.

Should I learn CLL, averaging 5 on 2x2?

I think learning CLL makes 2x2 more fun but it's a skill that doesn't translate to other cubes. It's a commitment to learn all those algorithms and a commitment to maintain them. I learned CLL but I'm a bit torn over whether it was worth the effort.
