I'm not the best. I can offer some help though. I would just practice more and work on getting my cross time down. If you do this then you could shave off a few seconds and then you can fully focus on looking ahead/ the rest of CFOP. Do this and after the cross just move on to the next steps in CFOP. (F2L, 4LLL) Just continue practicing. Get your cross time down, move to the next step, and work on getting better at what you already know. This will drop your times by a few seconds. It depends on how much work you put in. Hope this helps.I am currently a relatively new cuber with an avarage of 30-40 seconds using cfop with 4lll-does anyone know what areas I should try to work on getting faster with? I usually solve the f2l in 20 seconds and the last layer in around ten seconds if that helps. Thanks!
You answered your own question there. Work towards full PLL then OLL. Of course you should work on the other stages at the same time, and others may say those are more important, but learning LL algs is a straightforward and obvious way to improve and it's lazy not to. Plus, the earlier you learn them, the more practice you give them.using cfop with 4lll-does anyone know what areas I should try to work on getting faster with?
I am actually trying to learn COLL (corner orient last layer), but i am having a hard time learning it, so i will try learning 2lll also.Work towards full PLL then OLL.
Don't learn subsets till you learn full oll and pll also work on lookahead cyothekings tutorial was helpful.I am actually trying to learn COLL (corner orient last layer), but i am having a hard time learning it, so i will try learning 2lll also.
ProbablyIs lookahead the only reason why I'm not sub 20.
If you explain a bit about what method you use, whether you do full OLL/PLL (or CMLL if you do Roux), you average splits, etc. feedback will be more specific also but I agree that, most probably lookahead is at least one of the reasons, likely the most important reason. Is lookahead the only reason why I'm not sub 20.

That is the time list, I 2 look oll and know most PLLS, and know all F2L cases and can perform them without looking in under 2-3 sec. Any suggestions to get faster?
I'll record a video in a few minutes.I think here it could be interesting to see an example solve of you, either a video or a reconstruction.
