How about the 57mm Fangshi Shuangren v2 vs the Moyu Weilong? And the 55mm Zhanchi vs the 54.6mm Fangshi Shuangren v2 for OH solving?

Both are really good. Take your pick, smooth vs crunchy, super fast vs controllable fast, etc.
For OH again both are excellent.. Just pick one and you can't go wrong.

Weilong. Fangshi.

I recently searched about the Sq-1 too and ended up getting a Calvins Sq-1, but I havent received it yet so I cant vouch for it. Cubetwist is also worth a look at apparently. The problem with Sq-1's seems to be popping or lockiness.

Imo yes, the WeiLong is pretty much nothing like a zhanchi. It's worth looking into cubes that feel different. By that logic I could equally recommend a Guhong v2, a Maru CX-3, a FangShi ShuangRen and a Gans III. Forget the HuanYing, its close enough to a WeiLong but a little worse imo. It does have a special feel to it as well but I'd still say its worse than a WeiLong.

Final call, Weilong(some say it's way too fast), FangShi( Heard about corner twists) or CX3? BTW, I already have a stickerless ZhanChi. Open to other suggestions also.

About smooth & quiet, consider ShengShou Aurora, probably smoothest cube at least out of the box right now.

Also consider maybe the Guhong v2, somewhat older, but still pretty reliable. You'll want to do the 48 PEM on it though.

+1 for Guhong 2.

Inb4 rj suggests Weilong, it's fast but nowhere near as quiet as a guhong, or as smooth as a modded Zhanchi, Guhong, etc.

Despite what you might think from reading posts on this thread, the weilong is not simultaneously both smooth and bumpy, clicky and quiet, fast and controllable.

Having said that, it's my main!

WeiLong: smooth'ish, very fast (to the point it's almost uncontrollable at times, needs getting used to), cuts anything anywhere.
Modded Guhong v2: the unmodded one is already very smooth, modded even more so. Needs good tensions to cut perfectly when you want it to, but it is quite achievable. Also fairly fast, though very controllable. Very intact if you can describe a cube that.
Chilong: Dont have one, cant say.
FangShi ShuangRen: Crunchy'ish, crisp, fast, loose and airy. Performs very well. Great for OH.

It depends on your personal preference in the end with 3x3s.

Usually mf8 v1 is considered best. CubeTwist are hit or miss. Nathan Dwyer has a comparison on cubing world.

i got 3x3,megaminx,5x5,4x4,2x2,and a mirror blocks coming.

Hummm, probably Pyraminx, Square-1, 6x6, 7x7 atleast. Then you could consider stuff like Skewb, 3x3x5 and other shape shifters.

Probably pyraminx/square-1 as they are something completely new compared to what you already have. 3x3x5 kinda falls in that category too, though.. Pyraminx is a lot easier to learn which also makes it boring faster. I'd probably start with Square-1.

Is a Konsta modded shengshou 4x4 v5 comparable to a Weisu??
Also does only doing the Konsta mod on the SS 4x4 v5 make it unstable??
