At home. Where you should be.
Nowadays, cubing products have become overly expensive with the add of magnets, and for gan cubes the GES. But now a new form of innovation in the form of interchangeable magnets has just been introduced by Gan. This has caused Gan 356x to cost a massive 60$!(Also the numerical ipg core makes it expensive) So I made this thread to see how many people actually think this cube is worth it.
Use yellow GES, White magnets, Lubicle black and Angstrom Compound V + compound X and it is definitely worth it. (I use the IPG V5)

Most definitely, the 356X has features that no other cube has, that's the thing about GAN, they are always making something no one else makes. That is worth some price increase, and I think they market that very well. A lot of people complained about the price of the 356X when it was first released. Personally, I was pleasantly surprised. When I saw the first prototypes on YouTube, based on the prices of other GAN products at the time and the new features, I was guessing $70 or $80. So $60 was a nice price for me. I think a lot of times cubers forget how lucky they are that they have such a cheap hobby/sport. I've had a lot of hobbies before cubing(i.e. RC cars, Photography, Woodworking, etc.) and minimum prices for good equipment are hundreds of dollars.

However, based on the previous comments, I would be interested in seeing a stripped GAN 356X(i.e. No GES nuts or GMS capsules),
and selling the individual colors separately.

I've heard that the qiyuan is better but as puzzles get bigger they get worse, especially even layered cubes. For this reason it may be a better idea to get the thunderclap 4x4 which is only 5 dollars more.

I'm wondering which one should I buy,
MoYu MoFang JiaoShi 4x4x4 MF4s
or
MoFangGe QiYi QiYuan S 4x4x4
I have a MoFangGe QiYi QiYuan S, and it pops in every solves. Its bad. I have heard that the MoYu MoFang JiaoShi 4x4x4 MF4s is not good either. Cornercutting is bad. I can't recommend either of these. If you are getting a budget 4x4, both are not great option.
The best budget 4x4 is Sheng Shou mr.M 4x4. It is cheaper and better than the thunderclap mini, and it is magnetic. You may also wait for the release of the yuxin little magic 4x4.

I've had a stripped 354m but the x won't strip because it has the numerical ipg

I think the same way, but there is a lot of innovation in it...

I know the Valk 4 is a very new cube and there is hardly any reviews on it but what do you think I should get? I want a fast cube. I know the Aosu GTS2M is fast but I'm not sure about the Valk 4.

ok bye

Not true. Moyu made the GTS3 spring system and the Gan developed it through their cube. Every manufacturer do it on each puzzle. By the way I wanted to post something like this but I don't know how to do it. :D
