How much time took feliks to get sub 15 or sub10?

I am just intersted and want to now the progress of the fastest cuber:D
If anybody knows.

If I don't think i will get into a final round of an event I am entered in, do I need to stay? There is somewhere else I'd like to be after round 2 of 3x3. (I expect to get in the top 20ish, and the finals are top 8)

I have 3 weeks until a comp. I just learned 2x2 CLL but need to practice recognition+execution. Will I have time to learn OH PLL. I have March break (one week off).

He learned to solve around April 2008. He got a sun-20 average in June and a 12.55 official average in July 2009.
He got an official sub-10 average in January 2010(20 months after he started).

It took me 6 months to get comfortable with CLL recognition and execution. I don’t think 3 weeks is enough. Unfamiliar algorithms and hesitation are far more deadly than a suboptimal method with fast execution. Focus on drilling CLL and stick with 4LLL for OH.

World Record Cubes progression

Hi guys,

Been trying for a while but can't find the info anywhere.

Could someone point me in the right direction please . . .

I want to find out the cubes that were used to break the world records. Just out of curiosity, really.

So each world record that was broken I'd like to know the cuber and what cube they used. Is this information out there?

Cheers

I already know how to recognize COLL so I really only need the sune and antisune cases though...

If you go to the video, most people will put the cube in the description

Umm, I guess this question goes here. So I fingertrick but I use my middle finger for U and my index finger for U'. Should I change this so i use my index finger for U? If so, how? If i try I can't, it's like my hands force me to use my middle finger.

Are you wanting to change because everyone else does it with an index finger or because it slows you down? If speed is your goal and it's not slowing you down, what difference does it make?

I think you should use your index finger because you can grip your cube better if you have your middle finger holding on to it. it feels weird and unstable using the middle finger for U

That's definately an interesting fingertrick. Tbh, there isn't really anything to say other than use the other fingertrick and just drill constantly until it feels natural. I wouldn't stop using the reverse flick though because that can be good for some algs and for OH though it is worth is being able to do lefty U' and left U2 as well.

How ever, when I try to drill it my middle finger shadows it, doing the U moves that my index finger is doing. When I try to put my middle finger to grip the cube like i grip the cube with my left hand its weird, I can't do a R move properly... Thanks for trying to help doe
