I generally just do one lol. But you’ll break it in anyway with out focusing on it, as you solve.
I would put weight 4 on the tracks and springs and silk on the pieces, although my favorite lube to put on the tracks is traxxas 10kI have a GAN RS M, and I'm just wondering if Silk on pieces and tracks and weight 4 for springs is good.
Nice! You don’t really need to lube them straight away, but it will help long term. The factory lube will stay for a while, then dry out. Lube will improve your cube a lot, and also in the long run, stop it from wearing out as fast as it would with no lube.Getting back into cubing after many years I've just bought:
- GAN 356 Air SM
- YJ MGC M
- QiYi Valk 2 M
Things seem to have moved on a lot from when I was initially active - do I need to lube these puzzles straight away? I'm happy with how they turn so I'm thinking more from a maintenance/care perspective. Any other tips for new puzzles are welcome too.
Awesome, thanks! They all turn so fast I can't even remotely look ahead lol so I will have to gradually build up speed. Already got a new PB with the GAN!Nice! That depends on too many variables to allow anyone to give just one answer. How warm is it? How fast do you turn? How tight is your cube, how much lube did you put in, etc. etc. etc.How long does it take for lube to completely... I guess... dry up. I'm using cubicle weight 5
I tried wiping it out but it still feels like there is some left and I wanted to know when it would go away

You need to clean out the springs.I tried wiping it out but it still feels like there is some left and I wanted to know when it would go away
I did and re-lubed them with vortex. You need to clean out the springs.
Well that's what's there then.I did and re-lubed them with vortex.
I‘m confused, what?Well that's what's there then.
If you have vortex in there, then that's why it feels lubed.I‘m confused, what?
