I've had my Giiker cube for a few years, and I've never actually set it up. I'd like to lube it, but I'm not sure it's safe. I'm not worried about any getting under the center caps where some little circuits are, but the ball core isn't closed off, so dunno what'll happen if some stuff gets in there. Any advice?

With other smart cubes with closed-off ball cores this would be fine. Maybe just find a way to close off the ball-core before trying lubes. I doubt anything can get into the core if you apply lube directly to the pieces, though.
