Hi guys, I am having trouble in bringing my cross and f2l down to 10 seconds.

So Any of you Guys can suggest some tips which would be helpful.

Look ahead is good for this kind of thing.
if metronome is good for you then try it and also if your TPS is kind of slow try to turn faster.
maybe you've only used intuitive F2L, if it is the case then at least try to learn some of the F2L algs.
familiarize yourself with cross on the bottom and plan the the first pair (atleast the cross) during inspection that's the generic advise.

learn the F2L algs subsets by subsets here's the link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nzAXYUWZJ6H2wIOXaHdWXep3W57tArbR/view

No. nonoononononono. Don't learn algs for all the F2L cases. Almost all of them should be executed intuitively, just learn F2L algs for some harder cases that you execute inefficiently. Don't learn all the algs, or it defeats the purpose of F2L, and makes you miss out on so much. I cannot overstate how bad of an idea it is to just learn algorithmic F2L.

I have not learned f2l yet and i am trying to find a way to learn it fast because i am learning it super slowly
Watch a Jperm video about f2l, he explains stuff very smoothly, if you don't like the intuitive method you can go heavily algorithmic f2l comes with practice

No, don't learn algorithmic F2L. I've posted about it many times, but the tl;dr is that it's a horrible idea. It's hard to learn intuitive F2L to start, but it pays off. Try watching a variety of tutorials, one of my favorites is by J Perm

Agreed. Definitely learn with intuition and then search for more efficient algs for the complicated, odd F2l cases AFTER you have an understanding of the mechanics at play during F2L. Learning intuitive F2L pairing will really help with other aspects of cubing as your overall knowledge will increase and you'll be able to apply those principles to not only other puzzles but you'll begin to understand HOW certain algorithms work by tracking F2L pairs around the cube.

What's the best approach to solve F2L when there are no good cases to start with? Is this where advanced techniques like multislotting become useful?

yes. Also learn advanced f2l algs. Watch J Perm's f2l tricks videos, and I think there are several on cubeskills.com. You probably don't want to implement all of them. Just implement the ones that will save you the most moves and rotations compared to what you would do now. I'm not sure what your level is, because if you average around 20, you likely would benefit more from learning other stuff. But if you're sub 15 or better you probably want to think about learning and implementing advanced f2l algs into your solves.
