Hey, I have a few questions on my mind today!

1. I currently take around 2-10 seconds to do the cross. Do you guys have any tips on how to get faster at the cross? I solve white cross because it uses less inspection time to figure out the color scheme. I take around 4-20 moves to get the cross done. It would be cool if you can help.

2. I need tips on F2L. People I see are doing F2L in like 1-5 seconds. It takes me 10-20 seconds. I would like some help. I do solve the cross then f2l, not the layer then f2l. Help to improve on F2L would be awesome! :D

3. I need tips on PLL. Why is there sometimes I need to do an H-Perm to identify the PLL case? I do the algs right, I want to know why are there H-perms? Are these normal, do I want to avoid these? If so how do I avoid them? Also G-perms. How rare are G-perms, and how critical is my PLL if I don't learn G-perms and I hybrid it using Full PLL and if I don't know the case, 2-look PLL?

Overall, I average around 40 seconds using full pll, and 29-50 seconds using 2-look PLL. Do you guys have tips on how to get averages of 20-30 seconds? I have tried learning full OLL, 2-look is just faster for me.

Are you color neutral? If your not it helps a lot in figuring out which cross is the best to solve.

What kind of problem? I would really like to know.
Not problems, my computer is being so mad at me I just kinda shortened it.
One of them is: In competition, it took like 5-10 seconds to figure out the color scheme. And I could not memorize. Also if I solved a different color than white, I would think: Oh a piece with yellow? I don't need that! And I ended up needing it and stole 5-10 seconds of time. I just didn't enjoy it.

About G perms. It is 22,22% probability you will get it, so it is very welcome to know all 4 of them. I do them on both sides, so just learned two for both hands, as they are not fingertrick friendly algs and doing them only on right side doesn't make that big a difference.

ok. I do have the recognition and algs down for G-perms

I have a 24 second average and was wondering whats more important at this point F2L, OLL, or PLL?

I am trying to break the sub 20 barrier. I currently average 22.02 for 3x3.upload_2017-2-4_15-52-43.png
I know full PLL, 2-Look OLL, and how to get around f2l odd case algorithms. I'm currently practicing look ahead with a metronome at 161 BPM and I almost feel completely comfortable with it, just a little rushed. I average 3-4 seconds on cross, 8-12 seconds on f2l and I average 8 seconds on last layer (OLL & PLL). Any tips or ways I should practice to break the 20 second barrier, and the steps I should take next?

good am. currently addicted to the cube because of my call center job. couple months of solving the cube. my current average is 34 secs, know all pll`s and half oll`s. but it hits me because a week has passed but I think I am not getting faster. can you give me some advise. thanks

That's something that happens in cubing. There comes a point where instead of getting faster every day, you get improve much much slower. There are definitely things you can do to improve, but just remember that slow improvement happens to everyone at some point.

I'd recommend working on your F2L (if you're not using F2L, definitely learn it). You often don't realize how inefficient your F2L is until you do really slow, untimed solves and work on getting it as efficient as possible. I'd also recommend that you make sure you're using a cube that works for you. If you're still using a Rubik's brand, by all means get a speedcube. Some popular speedcubes that people are using today include the Valk3, GuoGuan YueXiao, MoYu WeiLong GTS, and Gan356 Air (and their magnetic variants).
