I use 4-look LL-- any tips for me? I average 40 secs.
Cross-6.325
F2L-16.734
OLL-4.325
PLL-6-8
And transition time add to about 3 seconds.
Can anyone help?
Learn full PLL
Watch f2l example solves
Do cross on bottom and watch cross example solves
Is that the only way?Cuz I'm not the best at learning algs. And I do do cross on bottom
Thx for the tips anyway
If I av 30 s
4 s cross
13 s F2L
13 s ll
W/ 4lll
Any tips on improving???
First of all, why exactly? I don't find the dot OLLS particularly awkward or slow. And even the OCLL cases are not necessarily better than some other OLLs (especiallly headlights, bowtie and pi for me).
What if I have a pseudo pair (solvable with R U R') but the edges are not oriented? R U' R' U2 R' F R F' seems a bit long.
Using inverse sledgehammer is not really fingertricky and takes significantly longer than a "normal" insert, should I really use it?
What if my last slot is solvable with L U' L' but edges are not oriented? Rotating y2 U' sledge seems not efficient.
Hey guys,
I've been "speedcubing" for about 3 years now. I stopped for about 2 year and just recently, about a month ago, picked it back up again. My times are about a minute but I'm not sure what I should put my effort into next for the 3x3.
My cross takes about 10 seconds to make.
I intuitively fill in the F2L, which takes about 20 seconds.
I then use the 2 Look OLL methods for completing the top layer which takes about 5-10 seconds.
I then use the 2 look PLL method to complete the cube in about 5-10 seconds.
My finger speed isn't appalling but it's not really that impressive, either, even though I practice with it almost everyday.
Long story short where should I put the majority of my efforts into as far as cutting out bigger chunks of time?
I use the Dayan Guhong v2 as my cube.
