Most cases that can be solved intuitively in a small amount of moves imo dont need to be drilled. However, more awkward cases that without an algorithm I would recommend drilling.
I have learnt multiple more "awkward" algs from the pdf and my times are now sub 15. F2L is the most important part of your solve.

I know it's the most important part that's why I want to improve at it before going over to OLL

Learn both at the same time. Perhaps in the morning learn an F2L algorithm, and in the evening learn an OLL. The next day you can see if you can still do the algs, then implement them into solves. This is what I am currently doing for WV.

I think that'll be too much for me to memorize. I'd rather focus on F2L and OLL separately. Thanks for the help tho :D

Hi,
Currently studying intuitive F2L, there is a case in which I am often stuck with the last pair of corner-edge.

After building the last pair, I cannot find a way of securing/displacing it without breaking the rest. Well I manage to do it more or less intuitively after breaking complete sides/displacing the pair, moving it, rebuilding the side, displacing the pair again, etc; and in the end I cannot remember the whole sequence.:D

Can someone help me with the correct algs (assuming the front side is the incomplete one)?

hello,

Sometime ago a member posted links to a website and a google document with algs for diagonal and adjacent f2l cases.

Would anyone happen to have those links? Or does anyone have any resources with good algs for diagonal and adjacent f2l cases?

thanks

I watched a video from the youtuber- J Perm whose video had a link to all 77 F2L cases and algs.

Video:
Link of PDF: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nzAXYUWZJ6H2wIOXaHdWXep3W57tArbR/view

Hope this helped!

Thanks! I've seen that video, but it's not the one I'm referring to. It was a link to a website with many more cases shown (diagonal and adjacent f2l). At another point, another member here also posted a google docs with other cases. So I'm looking for any of those two.

Still looking. Also, how would I search for a google docs link that was posted on this website?

So I've been using F2L for about a month now, and I've essentially done it intuitively. My times are still up by thirty or so seconds, as my own version of F2L is really inefficient and bad, and I would like to get way better. What F2L sources can you recommend for optimal algs?

Thanks!

I wouldn't learn them as algs. After your sub 30 ish, learn algs for the cases that take awhile to do. A goal for me and I believe is good for most people is to try to solve every case in >10 moves.

Although long this one is nice too https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...4DE14FBFBCC1E2F8B6094DE14FBFBCC1&&FORM=VDRVRV

Edit- If you only watch 1 watch this one https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...82CF6ADAE51730B0416382CF6ADAE517&&FORM=VRDGAR But also watch the others....

Duncan Bannon did a great job listing the links, and I do not want to take away from that but I do have a few links that have helped me in the past with certain F2L cases. One of the links is from a cuber on these forums by the name of RedJack22, who has some great algs for F2l, (definitely check out his website) .

Like most other cubers I do recommend that you learn intuitive F2L but for some cases there are algs that are more helpful.

honestly dont learn F2L algs. Patrick ponce doesnt use F2L algs you should skim over the vidio and then come up with your own solushions so you can understand what your doing
