Hi all
Ordered some moyu cubes on cubezz along with a rainbow cube.
The moyu ones arrived but the rainbow one didn't. The package also explicitly says that there are only 3 cubes in the box, and so maybe the fourth one couldn't fit in the small box.
Was wondering whether cubezz ships cubes separately? xP

Yeah, that is strange. Interesting. I've never had it happen to me and I had 19 cubes in 1 box.

NOOBY QUESTIONS

OK so I noticed that many members on the speedsolving.com forums have this information about them underneath every post, after a greyish line that separates the post from the information, of which has obviously been put there by themselves.

1. How do I get that information to show up on my posts?
2. What exactly is that 'information' called in forum jargon?

EDIT: For example, the post above me: Berd has this quote "It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye. Then its just a game - find the eye." turn up every time he posts. How do I get that?

It's a signature. Go to Settings -> Edit Signature, and type what you want there.

@Statue: I like the concept of this thread, but it seems that it will turn into those of us who are very comfortable using ACube, or another similar program, will end up posting lots of algs for when people ask for them.

Perhaps a detailed explanation on how to setup ACube to search for what you're looking for would be more helpful? As in, rather than giving you a list of algs, I could give you the ACube input that would find what you're looking for?

Or are you moreso looking for already filtered algs that are generally "good" algs to choose from for this case?

Chris

(This quote is from another thread.)

I Bing-searched "acube" and it came up with weird results. What is this software and how can I find it? I need it for a 4x4x4 method I'm making...

Does anyone know where I can find a cube made of pink plastic? Like maybe even a pink force cube or something.

Why did people like Rubik's Magic? It's the same exact thing every time. Wouldn't that get preposterously monotonous? I guess this is why people ask at school ask me why I still solve cubes since they think it's "just the same formula every time."

Any one have a downloadable OLL sheet?

I am going on a road trip with my family tomorrow and wanted to work on my OLL. I want to know if anyone has a full sheet I can download. (I have one but the algs don't seem to be very good) Multiple algs for each case would be appreciated as not all algs are for every one. Thanks!

5x5 Notation?

I cant find notation online. Could someone refer me to a video. I searched google and youtube but nothing came up.

If you know 3x3 notation it is easy.

outer layers are normal (RLUDFB) like in 3x3. Then if you want to do so called wide turns (where you turn two adjacent layers at once) you just add w after that (so you get RwLwUwDwFwBw). So for example scramble R Rw would mean that you turn the rightmost layer clockwise and then you turn 2 of the rightmost layers clockwise.

EDIT: sometimes small letters (rludfb) are used to be equivalent for (RwLwUwDwFwBw) and sometimes they mean turning only the inner layer of the two (for example r = Rw R')
