Maybe 3 dollars? Getting a budget cube from stores just like the point lolDoes anybody know how much shipping from SCS is?
I was just wondering; I was thinking about getting seasonal mats (the Halloween and winter ones).Maybe 3 dollars? Getting a budget cube from stores just like the point lol
If the colours are uniform (no signs of the paint chipping, the texture is the same for all sides, etc.), it should be allowed. Post a photo?Hey, i have a 5x5 that only have the white colors so i hand painted the cube, i was wondering if this cube that i hand painted is allowed to be used in WCA comps?
(just to be clear, i painted the cube to have standard cube colors in the right positions.)
Looking to get into FMC. Just wondering if these are the right order to build up knowledge:
- Blockbuilding/Petrus/2x2x2/2x2x3/F2L-1
- Skeleton
- Insertions/Commutators
- EO
- Inverse/NISS etc
First, you wrote the alg wrong. There should be a U after R U' R'.I am struggling on which way the E-Perm is supposed to face when doing this algorithm: (R2 U R’) y (R U’ R’)*3 y’ (R U’ R2). Could someone please help me on which way it is supposed to face? It is messing me up with the ”same pattern” on every face. Thank you! I have been cubing for over 5 years.
First of all: don't use that alg. Use this:
x' R U' R' D R U R' D' R U R' D R U' R' D' x
Next:
Look at the side color of the edge on the right and compare it to the front sticker of the UFR corner. If the colors are the same, then that is the correct orientation for the alg. If they are opposite, you will get a H perm.
That's all. E perms will be easy after that

Second, hold it so the corners that need to be switched are going left and right not up and down to solve it.
Third, PLEASE don't use that alg.
This is a very bad alg, you should use the standard RUDx one. If you have good fingertricks, it's really fast.
But the alg isn't too bad when it comes to bigger cubes,This is a very bad alg, you should use the standard RUDx one. If you have good fingertricks, it's really fast.
Yeah because D moves are tough when it comes to 6x6+ especially if you have small hands. But the alg isn't too bad when it comes to bigger cubes,
Some are generated with cube explorer, some are found by hand, some can be intuitive to find as commutators.I'm just curious as to how people make algorithms such as PLL or OLL etc.
Could anyone tell me how they do it?
I just mess around with existing algs and try adding wide moves, slices, doubles instead of singles etc. Some are generated with cube explorer, some are found by hand, some can be intuitive to find as commutators.
