50kI have RS3m 2020 . I average around 18 seconds. I haven't used lube till now . I am thinking to buy one , so need a suggestion on which lube to buy . Please mention the weight of the lube you suggest, name of the lube is not mandatory and also please menrion what cube and lube you use if any ....
weight 5 is 50k, just cheaper
because there is less in a bottle. buy 50k from amazon it is really cheap.weight 5 is 50k, just cheaper
some people like w5 more than 50k because of a certain feeling. Think of Weight 5 like an upgraded 50kbecause there is less in a bottle. buy 50k from amazon it is really cheap.
they're equal, some people prefer feel of weight 5, some people prefer the feel of traxxassome people like w5 more than 50k because of a certain feeling. Think of Weight 5 like an upgraded 50k
But what’s the difference between Velocity and Hurricane? Also, I think Cubelelo should start making water based lubes, like DNM or Lunar, that would be really nice to see.I use cubelelo velocity and cubelelo swift to lube all my cubes.
They are premium lubes that the Indian Cube Store, Cubelelo provides.
Yes I too hope that they start making water based lubes. But what’s the difference between Velocity and Hurricane? Also, I think Cubelelo should start making water based lubes, like DNM or Lunar, that would be really nice to see.
General consensus is heavier weight on core, to give more of a smooth feeling and prevent centres wearing down, and lighter for pieces. I have Angstrom Gravitas on the core and on the tracks, with Dignitas on the pieces.Which lubes do you use for lubing (core, pieces)? Write down.
For tensioning the screw back in, what I do is keep track of the logo on the screwdriver. I know it's not a good way of tensioning, but for me it works perfectly. Or you could keep track of wrist turns that you made while taking the screw out, and then use those wrist turns when putting the screw back in. Now,I don't know about how much 10k, mystic and DNM to put on the pieces. So, I'm sorry about that.Ok, so I have an RS3, Mystic, 10k, and DNM, so I want to make it a Cubicle Mystic cube.
I know I'm supposed to add the 10k to core, but would I have to remove the screws/springs and then the blue piece? How would I know the tension it was on when I put it back together?
How much 10k, DNM, and Mystic do I add to the pieces?
Thanks in advance
I put in the screw, then go anti clockwise until I hear a click - I take this to mean the screw’s gone round once and pushed back down. I use that as a measurement for all the screws. I have a Tengyun V2, so I just keep track of how many times the little outcrop goes round, but you can just count individual quarter turnsFor tensioning the screw back in, what I do is keep track of the logo on the screwdriver. Not sure, but it’s known that weight 1 is pretty gummy, and weight 5 is really viscous, like melted glue.Anybody have some idea of the cSt rating of common weight 1 / weight 5 lubes ?
Using weight or TRAXXAS 50k scale is like using stones for weight, and mouthfulls for volume.
I think I read somewhere that 50k Traxxas is not that far from 5k cSt. And anything lower than 1000cSt should be runnier than weight 1, but not a linear scale. I have some 100cSt on the way, not sure if that is weight 0.1.
For adjusting screws, my new idea is:
Take something stiff and flat, a cube width or slightly more. On the center, glue something sticking out say 2.0-2.2 mm (the bump). Now run this over the cube with the bump in the opened center. Adjust screw depth until it just touches the bump. Fine-adjust from there, counting number of turns. For the other centers use the same device to find a zero-point, and count turns from there.
Other people use a caliper / depth gauge to measure how deep the screw head is.

Where did you buy the 100cSt from?
I guess you’ll find out when you open it, maybe it’ll turn out to be Weight 1 or even Traxxas 100K depending on how well people who’ve said 50K is like 5K cst and labellers have done their research.
