SCS lube is the way to go

SCS lube is considerably worse than cubicle lube. It doesn't last nearly as long and it has far less of an effect on the cube's performance and feel

Actually, it's worse value. A 10cc bottle of Mystic lasts much longer than a bottle of Martian. I had a bottle of martian that ran out in a mere half a year, whereas i've been using my bottle of mystic for half a year and it's only half empty

How often do you lube your cube (s)? I'm not arguing, I just want to have some context.

Once a week usually.

edit: the reason martian didn't last long is because it required more to actually make a noticable difference. I usually put around 5 drops of martian, whereas with Mystic I only need 2 drops max for equal effect

I lube my 4x4 once every 3 months. That's the NxN I lube the least. (i don't have 6x6+)
my scoob is the wca cube i lube the least, last time i lubed it was 6 months ago lol

How does the feel change if you don't lube it for more than a week?

I have some SCS lube, and for some reason when I squeeze "one drop" it seems like I'm emptying 25% of the bottle. I recently picked up some DNM (my first Cubicle lube), and two drops on my 3x3 really seemed to help/

I like my virtual cubes to be slow, so I don't lube it. To lube it you increease the "VRC base speed (tps)"

virtual lube basically, should be called VRC tps lube.

Is Lubicle Black worth it? I personally prefer bottled lube but a core lube that'll last the rest of your cube's lifetime seems nice. Is it really necessary to lube the core?

I would like to see a serious comparison between cubicle and SCS lubes. AFAIK no one has made a good quality comparison.

Just use a thick silicone lubricant like weight 5

suould i get mystic and dnm? also how long does dnm last - longer/ shorter than speedcubeshop lunar?
