[Help Thread] Lubrication Thread

Any tips on how to speed up my 50mm ZhanChi? I have tried to loosen it, removed the torpedos and lube it with different amounts of Lubix and weight 2 and 4 lubicle lube. It seems like it's fastest (but not fast) without lube.
I have all 4 sizes ZhanChis, and the 50mm is by far the slowest.

did you break it in for 2 days?
either you didn't let the lube break in, or you overlubed the thing.
also, make sure you clean it out properly every time you re-lube i or it'll be terrible

I got it used so from the smell, it's been lubed with at least CRC and I tried putting some traxxas 50k and maru but the cube is still really slow.

Clean it out then re-lube it I have noticed on mine that it always gets dirty and slugsh if I over lube it

I have done at least 300 solves with it, and I always clean it properly before lubing it.

I did that with a guhong v2 and it worked great

Pull out a dedge, put in a drop of lube, and work it in. I haven't plucked up courage to dismantle and lube my springs, yet, but there are Youtube videos on that.

Hard to say, but a long time. Generally I only relube when the cube is full of crap and needs cleaning out. You only need a tiny amount of lube and the bottle's huge, so it doesn't really matter.
