Controversial storm time: 30k or 50k?

I like 30k, there pretty close to each other, 50k is a bit thicker.

With silicone spray,do you open an edge and spray,dismantle the cube and do a sweep then immediately put back together or do you dismantle the whole thing do a sweep and then wait for it to dry and put it back together?

Dismantle the cube then spray then let dry and then resemble the cube

either works, dismantling takes longer and doesn't get the core, but gets all the parts of the pieces. I would recommend dismantling.

Buy some silicone diff oil, 30k haha. But I would dismantle if youre set on using spray

The different weights (viscosity) are colour coded so you can easily tell them apart.

I know, but, how do they make it color-coded or something? Is the lube colored or something? (This is one of the stupidest question that I will ever ask lol)

It will last longer. Sprays need to be reapplied often, diff oil lasts a long time

Oh, I didn't know that, I thought sprays lasted longer c:

BTW don't buy thecubicle's regular silicone wt3, I have it and it sucks and costs more than traxxas w/shipping for me.
Regret those 6 bucks...

I've used Maru lube, and it's worked well on all my puzzles for me. I'd like to know how lubix or calvin performs though. In all honesty, they're probably all the same mix of toxic chemicals anyway, just slap a brand name on it xD

I was just wondering that same thing. I think mine is called "silicube".
I was wondering if putting on both that and CRC would be better than just one or the other.
And also, what order would you put it on?
It seems to make sense to me to put on a layer of CRC first, and then use the other lube.

I did that with a guhong v2 and it worked great
