No cube rotations? EOline takes about the same amount of moves as the cross lol.

Edit:
Lol.. so inserting the edge with those f2l pairs is what block building is. Pretty intuitive to say no use for it lol

Why should I block build!?? I'm not using ZZ lol.

Edit:
I steal the best features of all methods and combine it into an ultimate CFOP version.

Lol no way am I going to check to see if all of those meet the orientation created from EOline.. I'll try Cube explorer.

And I only want those moves, R, U, L, no rotations or anything else.

Check the wiki he linked, find algorithms that only have R U L and no rotations. These algorithms will not mess up EO. You need to do F or B or rotate to mess up EO.

Why should I block build!??

Less moves, so less time.

Oh boy...
"Ultimate CFOP" fo sure does not use EO-cross.

Did you even read the ZZ tutorial properly?

And even in ZZ there are some cases that are faster with F moves than just plain spamming of R U L.

Sigh!

At least you are experimenting Jorghi, that's a good thing. Not just memorizing CFOP.

In time, you will learn from your mistakes.

But I encourage you (since you are coming to the forum) to LISTEN to other people. That's the thing you are doing wrong IMO.

with blockbuilding ZZF2L i often get sub30 moves for F2L (as speedsolving solutions). thats pretty awesome if you ask me. it is not the little saved time of cube rotations that makes ZZ so good... its the low movecount of blockbuilding.

F2L Help

I was watching some videos and learned that improving my F2L times will help me humungously. Can anyone direct me to place where I can learn Advanced F2L Techniques.

P.S I don't know F2L algorithms so if I need to know them for more advanced F2L, say so. Then direct me to some websites

You don't need any advanced f2l techniques or algorithms yet lol. What I did.

1)Learned wtf f2l was, I couldn't even do LBL yet lol {Sub 2:00?}
2)Did a bunch of f2l solves {Sub 1:00}
3)My f2l pair recognition got faster so I paused less {Sub 40}
4)I reviewed through the wiki each algorithm and seeing if my way of doing it was excessive. Then tried to understand it without memorizing. {Sub 35, annoying time of no improvement..}
5)Started look-ahead to make my pauses gone. {Sub 30, look-ahead made quick improvement, i can even reach a consistent near sub 20 +/- 1 with it now}

With what method did you get sub-2 before learning LBL?

I hope you just mean the F2L, not the whole solve, since according to your sig, your PB single is barely sub-20.

Are you saying you've used LBL up until this point? Interesting way of going about cubing.
Badmephisto's guide is lovely. I suggest watching it.
And then, after LOADS of practise, for the cases you don't like, sites like Opticubes.com are lovely.

@uberCuber my F2L+Cross is 16-18 seconds. But my last layer average is 10-14(G Perm I use 2 Look for that) seconds. But I sometimes get easy Last layers
