Improve on 3x3 with cfop

I have been cubing for a little under 6 months. I have been using Fridrich for 5 months, and I have been stagnant with improving in the last month. I'm at roughly 23 seconds average, know all my Plls, and about 15 OLLs. A breakdown of how long everything in my solves takes place is as follows.

0-4: Cross
4-14: F2L
14-19: OLL
19-23: PLL

All help is appreciated!! :-)

Hey guys i am going to learn cfop and cll and i want to learn more efficiency. Can anyone send me some of the tutorial website?

I just got those web:

cubezone

cubewhiz

cyotheking

badmephisto

kungfoomanchu

algdb

cubefreak

i feel like I am fairly inefficient. Should I work on my move count? I average around 16.
This is an average solve for me:
Scramble: U2 R' D' L D B' D' R2 D' U2 F2 U2 F R2 D2 B' R2 D2 B' D'

x2 M' B D F' D' // cross

L R' U R2 U' L' R'//F2L1

y' U' R U' R' y U R U' R'//F2L2

y' L R U' R'//F2L3

L' U2 L U L' U2 L U' L'//F2L

M U F R U R' U' F' r U R' U' M' U R U' r'//OLL

M2 U M U2 M' U M2 U'//PLL

bump.

Help me solve under a minute

Hi everyone I began cubing about 5 days ago. I used badmephisto's tutorial and am using his algorithims to solve the cube. I average around 1:20 seconds. My best was 1:10, and my time for solving the white cross is 17 seconds. I know all is slow but I keep practicing and am getting around 1:20 everytime. I don't know what to do next. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Just solve and solve, I started learning new stuff after about 3 weeks when I averaged 50-55 seconds

Hi, I recently started cubing again after almost 4 years. My times have gotten a little bit worse, from 17 to 20-21s avg. I know full PLL and 2-look OLL. I usually have my F2L done in 10-14s. I wonder what I should focus practicing next. Learn Full OLL or try to become color neutral and work on Lookahead?

For CFOP I would say full CN and lookahead.

If you averaged 17 back then with 2L OLL then I'd say the only thing you need to get back there is practice. Another story is to get beyond sub-17. I just posted some of my thoughts about this in the How do I get sub 15 on 3x3 help thread. I'd say down to 13-15 seconds the most important things are lookahead and good use of inspection to perfectly plan cross (and 1st F2L pair if possible). To get significantly faster than that (sub-10 or close) other things become more important in my opinion, mainly TPS and also, efficiency / move count (learn full OLL, some algs for alternative PLL orientation if they're good, more efficient F2L insertions, maybe some WV or VHLS cases...). But, even then, there's nothing that beats excellent lookahead and lightning high TPS in order to get like... sub-8.

Before tps, however, comes look-ahead. Slow turning with good lookahead is faster the high tps with no lookahead.

Yeah, fully agree, pauses would just decrease your overall TPS so, yeah, lookahead first, pure TPS second. Well, you should know much better than I do, because you are already in the time zone where I say TPS becomes more important. I'm still in the "bad lookahead" 17-21 sec range where TPS doesn't matter much. My LL is absolute crap, inaccurate / sloppy turning and bad TPS.

Thank you all for your answers.
For clairification, I knew full 2LLL, but I have forgotten almost all of them. So I just relearned 2L-OLL and PLL (I know 18 OLLs now, just counted).
I just wondered if it is useful to become full CN sooner because I would have to get CN sooner or later anyway and simultaneously get better at lookahead.

I tried to be CN from the beginning but then I just started to be faster at white and yellow and now I'm just dual-CN. I wish I were full-CN. I'm at around 20 sec avg. but I'm like 4-6 seconds slower on other colours so, I'm wondering if the effort to become CN now will pay or I should better practice other things. Maybe for you it will be easier to become full-CN and, in that case, go ahead with it, the sooner the better.

I use CFOP and average 23-24 seconds. My cross is 4-10 seconds usually, should I focus on that first? I solve white cross only (with yellow I'm around 10-15 seconds slower) and also not on bottom. However in most cases the advices I read say "work on F2L" and "improve lookahead" which is something I could do as well of course.

I would say go for color neutral. At 20 seconds, it may take only 2-3 months, not sure. I switched when I was like 30-40 idk when and it took like 2 weeks to get the other colors good.
